RE: Sigvert R. Peterson, # 110153489
Sorry. I thought you could find it with the memorial number in the subject line. Sigvert Ronning Peterson, Longview Memorial Park, Longview, WA. I appreciate your help. Judi

Sigvert R. Peterson, # 110153489
Hi Jim,

I just noticed the grave marker photo you've posted on Sig Peterson's grave is not his marker, but that of his brother-in-law Clarence Hanson, #110154123. Clarence was married to Sig's sister Ardith.

Thanks for straightening this out. -- judi mcg

Leslie MITCHELL Smith
Longview Memorial Park & Mausoleum

Thank you for the headstone photo of Grace L. Burke. I have been able to update information and add a memorial for her husband, Samuel Albro BURKE (memorial #153364454). Would you also please add the photo to his memorial? I truly appreciate your time and willingness to help others.

Thanks again!
Leslie Smith

James Gallaher Headstone Picture
Thank you very much Jim, for the quick response and picture. As I suspected, although the DOB and DOD are the same for this James Gallaher as my lost Great Grandfather James Gallagher, the other folks listed on the stone are a complete mismatch. I was really puzzled how a man that spent his whole life in Maine and Alabama would move to Washington state when he was 66 to die. Thanks again.

Headstone photo for James F. & Lucy A. Jones
Thanks for taking the photo of James and Lucy Jones's headstone in Cowlitz View Memorial Gardens that is attached to James' memorial (# 102119686). Lucy was my great grand aunt. Could you please attach the photo to her memorial (# 102119743)as well since they share the same headstone? Also, could I have your permission to use it in my family tree on Ancestry?

Many thanks,

RE: subke, pearl
I forgot to tell you something. I am waiting to hear back from the cemetery as to where the heck they did with Pearl's husband.
Now we wait.

OK, you got it. I deleted the other two, BUT.
I added a couple of area pictures so you could see the "Enchanted Forest" she is in. If you don't want one or both of them on her page let me know and one or both will go away.

Ernest M. Subke
Where did you get the location for Ernest M. Subke's grave in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery here in Portland??
I claimed your request for pics of his grave. You put the location for his grave as Sylvan section, Lot 213, grave 4.
Guess what? There are only 195 Lots in that section. The Lots do not go clear up to 213! I found his wife Pearl's gravestone. She is for sure in Lot 193. I looked and looked and looked all around that area to see if I could find a stone for Ernest in there somewhere and found none. Cypress section is right next to Sylvan section so I checked Lot 213 in Cypress section since that section has that many Lots in it but he was not there either.
It is quite obvious that somebody gave you the wrong location for his grave.
I took pics of Pearl's gravestone and I have not put the pics on her page yet. Her grave is under a whole bunch of large fir trees like the enchanted forest or something. Her stone has one of those verrrrry shiny surfaces and light coming through the trees make a terrible glare on the face of her stone. I took 17 pictures of her gravestone trying to get one that was at least halfway decent and narrowed it down to a couple. I will get pics onto her page here pretty soon.
