Emeline Hitchcock
Fred,

I had to transfer Emeline Hitchcock's memorial back to you because Find-a-grave will not permit me to delete it. Will you please delete it. Your other memorial for the same person - Emeline (McFarland) Hitchcock - is the one we're keeping.

Thanks so much and sorry for the trouble,

Janet

Daughter or Emeline McFarland
Hi Fred,

I don't think my second message was clear.

Emeline Hitchcock and Daughter McFarland were the same person, so you had duplicate memorials without knowing it. I greatly appreciate your transferring them to me, but I've got to delete one and wonder whether you have a preference as to which one I should delete?

I Remember When
H. B. Fuller
I received an SAC tonight with information about Mr. and Mrs. Fuller. I noticed the flowers you had left on the page so I transferred them to you. They should be in your maintenance.
Best regards
Nancy

Marcia Murray Holstrom
Asahel Murray
Hi, Fred: According to the Murray book I have, Asahel was born 19 May 1788 in Orwell, Vermont, where he died on 11 July 1854 (which is what is on the tombstone and what you have on his page). Just thought you'd like to add that birthdate. Thanks for doing all these!

Tammy York Orman & Timothy
Gibson Family
Hi Fred,
I was out at the Mountain View Cemetery in Iron County Missouri this last weekend looking for your family request on the Gibson's. I could not find the family members you have a request in for, but I did find a Samuel Gibson born 1879 died 1947 married to a Lucille born 1886 died in 1962. I have made memorials for them. There was a empty plot next to these two, which looks to be a Gibson family plot. Not sure any of this info will help you are not, but you may want to take a look !! You may want to try and call Alex at the Rueggs Funeral Home here in Piedmont, phone # 573-223-4242 and ask ,he may be able to tell you if the Gibson's you are looking for are buried next to Samuel & Lucille Gibson.Alex is a very kind person, and has helped me before. It's worth a try.

Find A Grave
You sure look like a Texas cowboy! I have no info on W. L. Dent's side of the family and would like to add some to the family tree. Is there a Dent Family Tree? If you ever want any info on the Graves side I would be happy to share. Would you like a copy of the picture of Dovie and Willard Lafayette Dent? Nancy

Find A Grave
Thanks for replying to me so quickly. I would be happy to exchange Graves info for Dent info if you would like. Do you have a copy of his obituary? It is quite interesting. Do you have photos of them? I have one obviously taken on wedding anniversary...not a very good one....they are clear it appears printer was running out of some colors of ink at the time; nevertheless you are welcome to a copy if you don't have it.My mother, Bonnie Housmon Dixon, was her niece. Looking forward to hearing from you. Nancy

Fred I was excited to see you are related to Aunt Dovie. How are you related to Dovie and Dent Dovie was a sister of my grandmother Nancy Cornelia "Nannie" Graves Housmon. W. L. stands for Willard Lafayette by the way. Hope to see you soon. Nancy

Question about Myrex Fuller
Hi Fred,
My name is Diana Richardson Zajicek. I'm a gr. gr.granddaughter of John Cephus Fuller & Sylvia Abigail Courter. Their daughter Lottie Agnes was my gr.grandmother. I believe I read somewhere that you descend from her brother Horace.
I've just begun my genealogy search and I've found a lot thanks to people like you.
There seem to be many questions about Myrex H.(?) Fuller. I've read the consensus is that he came from VT. However, I've seen and printed off a copy of the 1900 census from Sharp County, AR that lists the family of John C. Fuller. I know this is John Cephus because Lottie is 17 at the time and living at home. Under the Nativity section, where everyone has to name the place of birth of their parents, it says that John C.'s father was born in Germany, not VT., and his mother in MI. You'd think John would know where his own father was born, so I wonder if this is the right Myrex Fuller. I would love to hear from you to discuss this further. My email is dianalou@excite.com.
The 1900 census was a gold mine for me. On a neighboring farm was the family of John & Drucilla Richardson. Their son William is my great grandfather. This means that William married the girl next door! He was several years older than Lottie and not living with his parents in 1900, but he obviously got to know her during visits home.
Both John's were soldiers in the Civil War, one Yankee, the other Confederate and their children managed to overcome the rift and marry.
I still have lots of research to do on the Richardson branch of the family. It does tend to get overwhelming!
I would love to hear from you sometime. Maybe you can help me fill in some gaps.

Lynne G.
Courter
Good to hear from you. I am descended from Leah Courter who married Abraham Clark and moved to California in 1856. I believe Montgomery either came to California with them or shortly aftwards. Abraham's journal mentions they traveled with some cousins and I wondered if that is who he meant. Have you done any genealogy research? I've hit a brick wall with Jane Speer Courters parents. Harmanous seems to have lots of records to follow however.
Take care, Lynne
