RE: Oscar & Bertha Busch
Thanks for your fast response. I added obits and heasdtone photos for Bertha and Oscar to your original entry. I added four more family members along with links and linked Oscar's mother Nancy to her parents in Fort Plain Cemetery.

Oscar & Bertha Busch
Oscar Busch is my 1st cousin 2X removed. If you could transfer his and wife Bertha's memorial to me I can add information and obits along with headstone photos and link them to the rest of the family.
Visits to Bertha are mentioned several times in my aunt's diary so I know that there was interaction between the families.

Oscar #109063868
Bertha Van Sickler #109063733

Thanks,
Dianne Miller

Ada Nellie Lilly
Found her memorial and I've requested transfer. William D Gillespie was her 1st or 2nd husband? Saw that she also had a surname of Baker in the obit for her mom or dad. I know this is a busy time for you and this is not urgent - that's why I'm posting it here.
With Sympathy and Love,
Your cuz

death date
I see that you maintain the listing for Mary Kathryn Babcock Van Sickle.

I am looking for the death date of her mother, Mary Lillian Reynolds Babcock. I believe it may have been in 1965, but have been unable to confirm that.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: info for Gail, Geo & Grace
Thanks! Was in a hurry to be first to add them and figured I could "fill in the blanks" later. I'm excited that Frona is at Rose Hills, too, and can't wait to go there to add locations and photos.

RE: Van Sickle
Jeannie: Thanks for the message. My line of Van Sickle's goes to William b abt 1755 in or near New Brunswick. His wife supposedly was Ephey Johnson, according to the book on the Van Sickle family by John W Van Sickle in 1880, but I've found no info on her other than possibly an entry in the 1840 census in Woodbridge,NJ for a Uphema Van Sickle. I'll post something on your facebook page. What is the best way to contact you? MarjDeline

I forgot to mention, that I'm the one who does photo restores - for FREE for findagrave members. It's best to email me rather than posting in the photo gallery, since the quality can be higher.

Thanks for sponsoriing Nathan's memorial. I just thought he had a wonderful story and one of the veterans we all owe so much to.
His grave is on the far side of the cemetery and I've recently been doing research on the early burials in the cemetery.
I'd be more than happy to transfer management to you, if you'd like.
Just let me know.
Thanks again for sponsoring.

RE: Rio Vista Cemetery
Thank you for your kind words Jeannie. I so miss RAOGK. Before I forget I did the two edits you sent me, thank you for the additional information. The Stewarts, for the most part are my own family, they are spread all over Solano County. I know how big Rio Vista Cemetery is, have been by it hundreds of times but never step foot init, always heading elsewhere, one of these days. If you happen on the Stewarts great, if not someone someday will I would think. Thank you for all you do, it makes a difference.

Hi,

The memorial for George Van Syckel in Milford Union Cemetery, NJ, (#40042416) is now updated. Also, I "liked" the Van Sickle group on FB.

I am a researcher in Hunterdon County, NJ, and have access to many unpublished local records. I'd be happy to assist with the Van Sickle family, if needed.

Van Sickle
By the way, I happened to grow up with a kid named Brian Van Sickle. He was a special needs child. I am 54 now, so I imagine he is in his 50s now. We lived in Castro Valley, California, USA in the 70s and 80s.

OK, I changed his death date from 1815 to 1829, but I show him married to Sally also. Is his birth date 1775?

I understand the problem with people that will not add info or transfer. I can not add info for some of my close relatives because of non cooperation. I like to keep families together.
