Nancy K. Daugherty
Meador Ancestry
Hello cousins,
I am searching for Meador ancestors to add to my Sallee family tree. My second great grandparents were Nephry Johnson Sallee and Satira Jane Meador. He lived in Kentucky, Spencer County, Indiana and then settled near Sacramento, Indian Creek Township, White County, Illinois. I grew up not far from that location in Carmi Township. I have traced the Meador line back to Jonas Meador 1698 - 1768, but there is always more to find. I strive for good details and accuracy, so I like to find sources of evidence as proof.

I have contributed several memorials and photos for Find-A-Grave, and we hope to travel to more cemeteries this coming year.

It is good to hear from you, I am afraid the summer took over and has not allowed me to visit with Verlon just yet. I still hope to find an opportunity to make that visit soon if possible. Your husband's family may be related to my mother's family (Randolph) Zettie was mom's aunt.
Small world, isn't it.

Rock Talker
Hi,
I am trying to find a member poster "Rock Talker". He and I share some data, but have differing dates and I would like to correspond with him and see if we can consolidate our Find A Grave info.
However, I cannot seem to find a way to contact him directly. I found he had contributed to one of your postings and thought you might know of a way to contact him.
I am a Meador of the Benjamin/Lewis Meador clan of Franklin County Va and am trying to photograph cemeteries and collect data.
Anything you could pass along would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Susan Fleming

Thank you for the information. She was my Great-Great Grandfather,s sister. His name is George Washington Jones Sr.he is buried in Texas. Her parents were Elias & Parthena Ellis Jones.I do not know where they are buried. If you would like to add Polly's death certificate and picture that would be nice of you.She seems to have had a colorful and probably a very rough life.

Hi. Just transferred a child's memorial to you, since you are managing the memorials of his parents. Was in the cemetery, the light was right, so took the photo and added him.

Thank you for your reply... I have Aggie's will in which she leaves everything to her daughter Harriet Elizabeth Horn and to Harriet's daughter Lula Temple Horn. Harriet married William F.C. Horn on 21 Oct 1883 in Nashville.

That is all I have on Harriet, I will gladly send you a copy of the will, my email is in my profile.

RE: Box Paid
I don't - I would assume it relates to payment of the burial space or other burial related expenses. You could contact the cemetery - they should know.
