May I suggest that you link Faye Camille Henson Speer (58321461) to her husband Capt William Arnet Speer (83497276)? I have just linked Arnet and his first wife, Evelyn (my relative). I have one picture of him that I will post. Espa

Lillian Kilgore at Riverview
Hi Claudie,
We went to take pictures today. We found Billy, but the one next to him is Lucille not Lillian. I noticed it's the same dates though. Is it the same person. I'd like to know so I can put her picture up.

Yes, Claudie, I think you are right. I believe that William was my ggg-grandfather Alex Brown's brother. I sent you another message on ancestry about the two James M. Browns.

Snag here - memorial creator for John William Wiseman has NOT responded to post in years (582 pending post). Could be dead (?).
Would you want to post his obit in her bio ? ? ?
Would be a way around this roadblock!

Janie Manary
By the way his obit mentioned a daughter Janie Manary who died in 1985, I searched on Find A Grave and she is not listed so you might want to track her down and make a memorial for her.

Ada Russell
Was John W Russell married twice. He is listed on his headstone with his wife Pearl Russell. I have not found a listing for Ada Russell in Evergreen Cemetery. If he was married twice I will continue to look.

RE: Gordon McClellan, Coolidge Cem.
OK, my understanding on couchpotato is that she enters a lot of paper records, like from the library and newspapers, and as such, she will most likely -not- have a personal interest or knowledge of the individual. I'll pull the associated death certificates and see if I can put them together. Odds are that since there are only 4 or 5 McClellan's there, and all in one plot, I can tie them together.
Appreciate the quick response, James Coston

RE: David Boyse
You are welcome for the information on David Boyse. I have added a photo of his tombstone. The stone is not in very good shape with only his name remaining "In Memory of David Boyse" with the lower part of the stone having crumbled away since the cemetery reading of 40 years ago.

RE: Joseph Franklin Cavness
I've emailed find a grave with no response. Many of the memorials have been unattended at the Cherokee Cemetery and I asked FindaGrave to go in and edit memorials. Have been waiting for a response for quite a while. I also subscribe to Ancestry.

Joseph Franklin Cavness
Thank you for being concerned. I tried for months to get a response from the person that created the other memorial for Joe F. Cavness with no luck. I finally created another memorial. It gets hard when people creat memorials, then disappear and do not maintain them. Connie

I have added her maiden name. I recorded her grave on a trip with my husband to some historic places. Would you like to have the management transferred to you? I'm assuming you are a descendant. I am more than willing to do that. Thanks for contacting me about the maiden name. Very important!

Hi , it took a bit, but I did get a response RE
De Leon Cemetery. From a genealogy volunteer-
he states-
...Old DeLeon Cemetery and DeLeon Cemetery are two different cemeteries. Both are in the city of DeLeon. The Old Deleon Cemetery is small with just a few graves, it is located behind the old Peach and Melon Festival Grounds on the east end of town. The Deleon Cemetery is the large one and has many family names in it....

Hi, from what I can tell - I had placed my John Gipson in "DeLeon", thinking it the older cemetery. Now Im not sure what is going on.But... I did just tonite find on findagrave-

"OLD DE LEON" cemetery, with my Gibson already list.

I THINK there are two cemetery locations in the town. I found an addy of a lady who does much work there and I am writing her to try and learn the situation. Will let you know if I hear.

Old DeLeon Cemetery

De Leon, Comanche Co., Texas, is located on the east side of town, a quarter mile south of Hwy. 6, behind the fairgrounds. A green sign on Hwy. 6 points out the turnoff. There are approximately 70 graves marked by fieldstones, piles of rock, depressions, or illegible markers. Many of the remaining stones are very difficult to read. This cemetery is fenced, mowed, shady, and open to the public.

De Leon Cemetery, Comanche County, Texas

Located 5 blocks west of downtown De Leon, this cemetery includes over 5,500 identified graves and many unidentified graves.

DeLeon Cemetery - Comanche Co, TX
Please revise any submissions you have put in the DeLeon Cemetery into the DeLeon Cemetery with 3,600+ entries. Where there are 2 of the same cemetery, there will surely be duplicate entries. Thanks.
