Sondra Holbert
Louisa Moody Everland
Memorial #44144296
It is noted she is a descendant of Stephen Hopkins, Edward Fuller and William Brewster of the Mayflower.
Do you have the lineage to prove this? This is the 4th great aunt of my husband. This info would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Edward Asahel Sherman
That statement is from findagrave, not from me. It is a way to block the gate photo that appears on every entry in a particular cemetery. Just ignore it. Click on request a photo.

RE: Slagle stones
Sorry, correction to that last message, Edward and Viola Slagle are buried in Section 13 Div. E,

and you are welcome.

RE: Slagle stones
Edward and Viola were actually buried in Sec 10 and not Sec 2. Several Slagles are buried in Sec 2 however.

Sherman Line
Hi Gary,
Thanks for all the hard work on the Sherman line! Grace Loreen Sherman - Potter from Green Lake County, Wisconsin was my Great Grandmother. I've been attempting to discover exactly where she is buried? So far I've had no luck finding her or her husband County Judge Sherman Grant Potter. Any ideas?

RE: Solomon Dunham
Cousin Gary,

Thank you so much for your assist/information regarding Solomon and the Sherman side of my tree!
I am quite thrilled to see your photo of Solomon and am asking if it would be alright to use that photo in my tree, of course noting your contributor status. The gravestone has already surfaced in Ancestry...without history of contribution. I posted a note to the gravestone regarding its origins. I have been so busy fixing/dumping sources/documents to clean up the Dunham side. In the process I found Charles Dunham's burial at Albion IA. I get chills knowing that I'm living on a farm that, from the second floor, I can see the place where the farm was that Great Great Grandfather Solomon bought so many years ago. Best Regards, Cousin Linda

RE: Solomon Dunham
Hello there...then we're related!

Sarah Dunham is my Grandmother, her Father, Charles my Great Grandfather, his Father, Solomon my GGreat Grandfather.

Harlock Dunham, his father is buried up here at Albion Cemetery, Marshall Co IA, with 1 other son, 2 grandsons, 2 daughter-in-laws, etc. and more abt 5 miles up the road at the Liscomb cemetery. Solomon's Sons, Charles and Clem are buried here. If you would be so kind, here are links to Parents:

Elizabeth Haskins Dunham # 86085672
Harlock Dunham # 85649717

Solomon's wife Mary Sherman Dunham possibly died in Illinois abt 1868 though I haven't documentation yet where she's buried.

Many years ago, the family elders would comment that there were relatives in Texas. If you have time, you might be able to fill in the "Texas" gap for us!

Best to you Cousin!
Linda Leise, Granddaughter of Sarah

RE: Geo Sayre Jr
You are very welcome! He is on the back of the other Geo Sayre. So when I went there the first day it was late in the day and the sun was on the front of the stone. I had to go back the next day early so the sun would be on the back of the stone. Good thing I just live about a mile from this cemetery! :-)
