Sanborn Family - Concord, MA
The memorial page you created for Louisa Leavitt Sanborn, wife of Franklin Sanborn is well done. I'm wondering though if their son, Victor Channing Sanborn is in fact buried in Chicago as noted. I found grave markers for he and his wife at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Concord today. I just created a memorial page for each. Do you think their grave markers are just memorials? If so, do you know where in Chicago they are buried. Thank you. - TCW

I like your work, Midnight Dreary, and strongly approve your goals. Ravenesque moniker as well.

I teach American literature at a Tokyo university, and my seminar students and I are doing similar work in regard to the characters in Masters' "Spoon River Anthology" who have real-life prototypes and whose graves we can locate.

Have a look at my "Spoon River" virtual cemetery. Two of the memorials there represent work we have completed: Margaret George Davidson and William Cullen Bryant (not the famous poet but a youthful namesake).
