Sarah E Pierce Ingram
I am following the family tree for Sarah's sister, Martha Evelyn Pierce (who married her cousin John Max Pierce) who died in Wood, TX 1912. I have a document written in 1979 by Martha Evelyn's son, Julius. The document says that Martha and Sarah's father's name was Phillip Jesse Pierce but provides no mother's name. I can't confirm anything - even on about Phillip (I believe he may have gone by Jesse) or his wife. Do you know anything about them? You may already know they also had two brothers, Jesse Pierce of Paris, TX, and John A. Pierce of Honey Grove, TX. They had two other sisters too - Dinah Paulk (?), Texarkana, TX and Johanna Woods, Honey Grove, TX. Any information you may be able to provide about their parents would be greatly appreciated.

new hope
Hi Barb,
Can you send me the memorial number? There is more than one New Hope so he may have gotten posted to the wrong one.

I am doing great and hope this finds you the same. Going to my 50th school reunion this next weekend.

How nice to hear from you. I think of you now and then but never get around to writing. I need to work on that. :=)

I am good for the most part. I cracked or seperated a rib a couple of days ago, and it is really sore and a bit painful, but not serious. We are heading to Virginia to do research on my maternal side, then on to Pennsylvania and Elmira, New York to research on my husband's maternal side. We are really looking forward to the trip. We haven't been to that part of the US before...well have been to Virginia, but not PA and NY.

Hope all is well with you and your family.

Sorry you have been sick. Glad to hear you are back. We had the flu here and I was two weeks getting back on my feet. But we are back doing what we always do.
