Thank you so much for taking the picture of Jones' grave.It really means a lot that you would take the time to do this. I didn't see anywhere on your board if you give permission for others to use your grave site pictures. Can I please have permission to use the pictures of Jones' grave on my Ancestry Tree and in a written report for our family?

|Sally Heys||Holts in Illinois|
I am in contact with a fellow in Wisconsin whose grandparents are Edith Bennett and Thomas Labe Holt. They were in Kentucky originally but moved to Illinois. Do you know of any connection to our branch of the Holts? He saw a family picture I had sent to Kentucky Explorer and said the resemblance of those in the picture were so close to his relatives that it made the hairs on the back of his arms stand up. Please let me know if any of the family remember them. Thanks, Sally

|Phyllis Nelson||Permission to copy photo|
I need your permission to use your photo of Viola Jane Parker Messamore's tombstone in my husband's family tree on Ancestry.com. She is a very distant relative. I always give recognition when using other's photos. Thank you for your work on Find A Grave. There is no way we could travel to take our own photos to all of these places. Phyllis Nelson

|Joy Gray Zeitelhack||George D. Blick/Dennis Blick|
Hi Ken. You and I corresponded many years ago on our KY ancestors. I am desperately looking for anything relating to my ancestor Dennis Blick, father of George D. Blick that connects them for DAR lineage proof. George is buried in Liberty Cemetery, maybe Dennis Blick also?? Dennis died young and left George with his mother Mary Jane Jones Blick. Any gravestone inscriptions would be helpful, or anything else you might know about them. Thanks. Joy Gray Zeitelhack

|Muriel Brooks||Oliver Cemetery|
Hi, Ken. Yes, there is more than one Oliver Cemetery and that can be confusing. I photographed Oliver-Jones and created Oliver. That is the correct name, there is a metal sign at the end of the drive and it says Oliver. I think there is another, small cemetery that is on private property and that's probably the one those other burials are at. Any help getting it straightened our and the correct name back on it will be greatly appreciated!!

|Rhonda Kemp||parents of Jacob Holt|
Thank you for posting the gravesite information about Jacob Holt. Recent yDNA and atDNA testing by a male descendant of Jacob has proved that Jacob was the son of James Holt, who was himself the grandson of (Hans) Michael Holt and Elisabeth (Scheible) Holt of the 2nd Germanna Colony through their son Nicholas and his wife Eva (Wilhoit) Holt.

Thank you for responding. Where do you go to see the Lyon County Cemetery Books? What I'm trying to find out is my Grandfather Homer M. Marshall who is buried at Macedonia had gotten remarried to a Bertha M. Marshall and her name is listed on the headstone with him however, there is not date of death on the headstone for her. What I'm trying to find out is what year she died and also if she is even buried there. She may not have been as she would have only been 55 when my Grandfather died. She could have possibly remarried and is buried somewhere else.
Thank you for anything further you can tell me!

Find A Grave Memorial# 140876659
Thank you for looking for this little boy's memorial in Wartrace Cemetery. Per his bio, even though the funeral card showed Wartrace, because of the tragic circumstance of his death he may instead be buried in Morris cemetery in Jackson County.
Here is the note I included with the new photo request:
The little boy's funeral card indicates that he was buried in Wartrace Cemetery in Johnson County. However, a F.A.G. photo volunteer was not able to find it there. Please look in Morris Cemetery, north of Grimsby, Jackson, Co., Ill. It looks to be located in the woods, just north of highway 149. Here are the coordinates: 37°45'28.18"

Hi My sister and I were down in Central City, Kentucky. The people in the town told us about a very old cemetery. We went out there, there was no sign and the weeds were very tall. So we don't know if it was the right cemetery. Do you remember where it was? Thank-you Mary "Goforth" Edmonds

|Cathy Murphy||Edgar and Essie McKinney|
My name is Cathy Allgood Murphy. I saw where you took a picture of my great grandparent Edgar and Essie. Their daughter, Eddith, is my grandmother. I am curious as to how you got involved with the McKinneys. My grandfather, Paul Allgood from Breckinridge County married Eddith. Am wondering if you and I are related.
