Thanks for the update for Esther Broscoff. She is my great aunt too through marriage to Uncle Oley, who was my grandpa's brother. Any chance you have their wedding date? If so, I will be glad to add that as well. Thanks much

Email me at winterincarmel-genealogy1 at yahoo.com. I've got some Low pictures from Arabia cemetery, Parke county, IN that you requested, but I'm not sure enough of the ID to put them on Find A Grave.

|Vikki Jacobson||RE: Wickham|
You are welcome. I looked for a footstone but did not see one. Also, according to the cemetery records, this grave is listed under "Ellen Wickham." It is in the plot you listed so I thought that might be her middle name. Just wanted to make sure.

|Anne Oppegard||Little Joyce|
Ohhh, just now read your next post about Joyce. It's so wonderful that you have a picture of her to add to her page. I think that her little cast-iron angel marker is one of the saddest things I've seen. The praries have soaked up so many tears, haven't they! Again, as with Swen & Dora, if you'd like, I'd be happy to transfer her. Anne

|Anne Oppegard||Dora (Hays) Swenson|
Hi, Thanks so much for the info and parental links for Dora; I've made those edits. If you'd like, I could transfer Dora and Swen to you ... or I can keep them, which ever you prefer. I grew up in the area, and attended Wolf Butte's "sister" church, Richland - another tiny Lutheran church out on the prairie (it's still a functioning congregation with weekly services!). The names "Swen & Dora Swenson" are very familiar to me, but don't think I ever met them personally. Best regards, Anne.

Which Tomlinson graves? Your relative sounds familiar. Are you a member of Ancestry.com?

|Nancy Flor||Loretta Tomlinson|
How are you related to Loretta Tomlinson? I inherited this website as I am a family member. Since I know that Thurlow was Loretta's son (my uncle is named after him and he was my greatgrandmother's brother), I have to agree that either the website or the original contributor made that connection.
I am trying to figure out how to fix it.

Went to West Union Cemetery. Took pictures of all the Staffords. I found two additional headstones. One is for Elizabeth Warner, mother of Elizabeth Stafford. Another one is a large monument that says Willie and Ruth Stafford. Do you want those picures posted and do you have information on who they are? Thanks. Diane

|Hiesela||West Union cemetery|
Hello. I found all your requests for West Union Cemetery except Lorenzo Stafford. I did find a lot of other Stafford's in this cemetery that are not listed on find a grave. Let me know if you are interested in those photos as well. On the same stone as Demebas and Tile are the names for David and his wife Lucinda. Also found the following Stafford's: Sarah Malvina Peck who was the daughter of Joseph and Susan Stafford, another daughter of a Stafford who I think it says was married to a Crane? I couldn't make out the name for sure but do have the date of death Aug 23,1866? and was 22 years 18 dys old. Also have Margaret Cochrane who is buried with Myron who is already listed on find a grave with a photo,Elizabeth & Harry Stafford, Martha & Dewitt Stafford, and finally Dr JH and Susan Stafford.

I found Myron Stafford and have added the photograph to the find a grave site. I was unable to locate the rest of the Stafford and Zeigler stones.
I can at a later time this month try to locate a cemetery map with plot numbers that you listed.

Here is what is there. They are 8 graves in each Lot: 1st row are graves 1 2 3 4 - second row are graves 8 7 6 5. The Lot #23 was deeded to Hayes, F. L. on 3-27-1889. There are 6 people recorded as buried in this Lot. Plot 7 is Frances L. Hays; Plot 6 is Lucy Chadwick Hays; Plot 2 is Lydia Daggett (wife of F.L. Hays); Plot 3 is Herbert A. Hays (son of F.L. & L. Hays). The other two persons recorded as buried here are listed as Plot 5 Wickham, G.E. d. 1898; and Plot 8 is Levi Hayes b. 1875 d. 1909. There are NO markers for these last two individuals.
