I notice you are researching Achenbachs. Cecilia Achenbach Heffelfinger, 1856-1943, was my grand uncle's mother-in-law, mother of his wife Irma Heffelfinger Hartline. I have been trying for years to locate my grandmother's gravesite. DC indicates St John Gernant's but they have no record of her burial. I notice her brother, his wife Irma and in-laws are buried in St Johns, Mt. Aetna, and wonder if there is a mistake on her DC. Perhaps Nora is buried there as well? I have a call into the church & am waiting for a call back. Hoping you are able to provide some insight or suggestions. Thanks whatever the outcome!

Asa Sherman Bible Page

I noticed that you added a Bible page from the Elihu Sherman Family Bible to Asa S. Sherman Find A Grave Memorial #49278212, do you have this Bible in your possession? Elihu Sherman is my 6th Great Uncle and would be interested in obtaining copies of this Bible.

Thank You & Best Regards,

I saw you requested her gravestone and I think I'll be able to make it to the cemetery by next week. I also saw you have family in the Mt. Aetna cemetery. Do you need any photos for those members? If so, my sister lives across from the cemetery and is willing to go take pictures if necessary. She'd just need to know the dates and such. Let me know!

Hello karen
Thanks for catching that. I checked the obit and it was for Joseph not John. I corrected the name. Are you from PA? Send me an email if you wish.

RE: Thank You (Dyer photos)
When taking these pics, I found three 'footstones' with individual names including Olie's, but not one for Harry. The other two were 'Annie' and 'Burton'. I didn't see any other stone/marker to explain these two. Any idea for whom they are? They were identical to Olie's and placed either side, all aligned to the left of the original headstone for Harry and Olie. I was wondering if maybe they might be children? I have the pics for them as well.
