Hi Andy,

You're right, my mother was a Snyder. She spoke often of the Funks. And yes, I would like to chat, but would you mind emailing me direct?

John T. Lyon
I was at Maple Grove in Milford, IL on Friday. You have a request for John Lyon. I had the his name looked up but didn't read far enough into the post, I got a picture of a different John Lyon, one that was much older. I should be back up there in the next couple of weeks, hopefully the caretaker will be there again and I see where he is located and get the right one for you.

Richard Boyer
Sarah Huey marker - McKeesport and Versailles Cemetery
There are two markers in Section E, lot 69. One is for George and Leanore Huey and on the other marker the only thing you can read is the last name.

RE: Townsend Carman
I looked through all my photos from the Quaker cemetery and there is not a separate one for Sarah. I really couldn't make out what this one said. If you think it is both Sarah and Townsend, then by all means, copy it to her memorial. I believe I took photos of every stone that I could identify with some wording. There were a few tipped over or worn that I didn't bother taking so there would not be another one for her. Glad I could help.

RE: Sarah E Errett
I had almost given up, and as we were leaving my dad saw a patch of weeds & said "that almost looks like it could be a grave". I looked closer & laying flat, covered with weeds, was one of the most beautiful , clear headstones in the whole place. The cemetery is in a sad state of disrepair. There are many Errets buried there.

You are welcome for the photo. I took one last look in the Tarrs cemetery the day I was leaving Pa, and saw it. I felt lucky to find it. There were many others I could not find. I was glad to help you!

Sarah Erret
I just returned from Erret Cemetery and I looked at every tombstone there but Sarah's is not there. There are several that are illegible, maybe one of those is hers.
Good luck,

RE: John Banks
Hi Andy, Well you can look at it this way- If they do have a stone and it was not already knocked over or stolen then it will not likely be disturbed anytime soon. If I had my way and enough money I'd hire a helicopter to wash the entire cemetery with weed killer. I'll keep an eye out for them next time I'm wondering around their section...Don't hold your breath! Let me know if there are any folks you need looked up in Moriah. -rob
