Elijah Chaffin
I just found some information on Elijah Chaffin on Findagrave. I am in the Bitterroot Valley, Montana and trying to find out some more information on Elijah Chaffin and where he settled here around Corvallis. Do you have any more information and are you related to him? Please let me know

Find A Grave Memorial# 33111755
Hello.
In The book "Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever in Western Montana - Anatomy of a pestilence", Robert N. Philip says: "on a gravestone in the present Corvallis cemetery is the inscription: 'Jonas Williams, age 21 years and 14 days, died May, 19, 1873' ".
This is your photo!
I'm studying spotted fever, and wish to make a small homemade video about the disease, to post on you tube.
Can I use the image of your photo?

Charlotte Otto
I just claimed your request for Charlotte Otto at St Peters cemetery. Sorry to say, I could not find a headstone. There are several stones that I could not read. It is a very small cemetery that I have searched on two occasions. It's very quiet and peaceful surrounded with corn fields. You ask for a photo of the church. The church is down the road a half mile or so I'm guessing. I could email those to you.

RE: Thomas Carr
No, the one I'm looking for died on 1 Jul 1911 in a railroading accident in Chicago. I have some very interesting press clippings about the mixup of two Thomas Carr bodies from Denver Post, that led me to Green mount Cemetery. If interested, email at bill.mahoney@charter.net. Perhaps you can solve the mystery of 'Where's Thomas Carr?'

RE: FAG site 61372691 / Eugene Andrews
Hi Julie,

Eugene isn't a direct relative of mine. He married a first cousin 2x removed (Belva Robuck). If you want to transfer management, I would edit the middle name. No biggee either way.

Best regards to you.

Julie, could you check the middle name for this person? My records indicate his middle name was Anthony instead of Herman as shown on the site. The source of my info is family records, but it is supported by the photo of the headstone which shows the middle initial "A."

BTW, congratulations on your Animas City Cemetery website. It is outstanding.

Sylvester Goodrich
Hi,

I just came across Sylvester Goodrich the past couple of days and found his ancestors.

Sylvester (Alvah, David, Thomas, James, Thomas, Ephraim, William "the Ensign") Alvah is the weak link as I have not been able to find a whole lot of information on him. Sylvester went from CO to WA and died there May 27, 1909. After Mary either died or divorced, Sylvester married Annie Rommel.

My lineage Carl (Cora, John, Eli, Levi, Ashbel, James,Thomas,Ephraim, William "The Elder"). Eli on back can be found in "The Goodrich Family in America" book by Lafayette Wallace Case published in 1889.

I sure would be interested in any information you might have on Sylvester Goodrich. Thanks.

Hi,

For Charles Adamson buried in Greenmount Cemetery,Durango, CO, he was born February 13, 1865 in Iowa and died in Durango, Laplata County, Colorado. He was married to Elizabeth (Lizzie) A.
