I got on here to ask permission to use a picture you have taken, on my Chappell family which runs into Sledge, etc.
But I see from some of your names that we must share some surnames.
Goodwin (unless it is Theop) Savage, Scott, Harris, more than likely.

Hello Jeremy!
I ended up spending about three days on all these men of the same name...and decided it didn't matter after all...I'm sure they must share a common ancestor...or it's locally historic cousin married one of them..and that was very very long ago.
But I thank you for offering to research it.
Your probably cousin a few times over.

Jeremy, Hello!
Fascinated with the several men named Tennyson
Cheshire or some version of that name, as a cousin, Mary Gray married such a man in 1800 Wilkes Co NC.

I noted you have one here born 1794 - 114520491.

I've seen one in Maryland, one or more in Alabama and Georgia. I don't know if Mary's husband was the one in GA or AL or if they stayed in Lincoln Co TN, but he was born 1774. I see one served in War of 1812.

Would you happen to know if the one you made the memorial for, is a son of my Mary Gray and Tennyson Cheshire? Or which one went where?

Thank you for your time.

Hi Jeremy,

I too have spent countless hours connecting
the memorial in Western Colbert County where
I was raised. Perhaps our paths have crossed.

Hi Jeremy,

I am in the process of linking all the persons
in all the cemeteries in Western Colbert County,
Alabama. I have dozens of requests to different
contributors outstanding. I really don't which
one you were referring to but you are WELCOME.

Believe me,but I great pleasure on connecting
obscure links. I use census, SSDI,
mainly for my research.,

Have a great day and God Bless.

RE: Martin Crafton
Yes, I know it took me forever to write this back.. sorry!! Martin Luther Crafton and Gerome Tillman Crafton were brothers. There were a total of 9 Crafton children.

in 1900- Martin was in Sharp, Arkansas and married there in 1902.
in 1910- Martin was in big spring, Izard county, Arkansas.
in 1920- Martin relocated to red river, Texas.
in 1930- Martin is shown to be in dickens, Texas and stayed there until his death in 1961.

in 1900- Gerome was in Izard county, Arkansas
in 1918- Gerome relocated to red river Texas and is shown there in the 1920 census.
in 1930- Gerome was in dickens, Texas.

most of the Crafton family shortly left Texas and headed to California. Gerome died in 1963 in San Bernardino, California

Eureka Cemetery
Going west from Selmer turn left onto Rose Creek road. Continue on it to the end. Turn right, then left at the first road on your left. That is Vernie Kirk Road. Continue on it for a good ways, always looking on your left for the cemetery. I can't say if there is a sign identifying the cemetery or not. You may have to stop and look as you go. Hope this helps.

You didn't give me a name of the person you are interested in, or the name of the cemetery that person is buried in.

RE: E W Jacobs photo at Eureka Cemetery
Hi Jeremy,
Yes, you may use this or any other photograph that I have taken in any way you wish. I do not feel that I "own" any of the photos that I have taken and wish to share them with anyone who wants them.
If I remember correctly, Eureka cemetery was located in the area near Big Hill Pond. In particular, it is off of Hwy 57 on Virnie Kirk Road.
thx, Mike

RE: Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery
I asked Find A Grave to remove the photo. Will you post a picture for this cemetery? It is a large cemetery not to have a picture. Email me a picture and I will post it.
