|Linda Cumbest ||Fred Perez's' 1st wife|
Hi. I am Fred's granddaughter Linda Noble Cumbest. One of my great - nieces has been doing research on mom's (Mable Perez Noble) parents. There is a marriage certificate (07/10/1908) for Fred and Margarite Louise Hassey at the Gulfport court house. I have an e-mail with the divorce of Fred Perez and Margarite Louise (Hassey) Perez in the 12/08/1915 issue of the Daily Herald on the front page. Is it possible for you to add my grandmother's name on the obituary? It only lists his second marriage. Thank you so much. Linda

Found another Andrew in D'Iberville memorial park-86925601. Biloxi City hall records show Andrew buried in Addition 6, Lot 193 Block 11, Section 2. (1895-1971). Biloxi City cemetery book shows Andrew and Cora are in the cemetery, I was unable to locate either.

|Phelicia Gardner||RE: About Joseph Santa Cruz and Ellen Barry|
Oh it is good to finally meet a relative from the Santa Cruz line other then the immediate ones that I know, and thanks for the offer of helping where you can it has been so hard finding info. I think it was because my grandfather figured both his parents families originated in California and came from the missions. So finally I extended my search and found out his father's side came from Mississippi the start, lol. No I am not from the Gulf. My line of Santa Cruzs have been in California for generations. I am a descendant of John Santa Cruz, Ellen and Jose's son. He married a woman name Carmelita "Carmi" Ocano. I have no clue how we ended up in California since the records I have come across say that his son Lawrence my 2nd great grandfather say he was born in California, though that could be a history record stuff up. I now live in Australia I have been here for 4 yrs and am going to University but my mother (a Santa Cruz) is still home in California along with my siblings and my Relatives from the Santa Cruz side. I know she will be thrilled to know I found a cousin somewhere in the states from my Grandpa's father's side. :D

Thank you for the prompt reply. Okay thank you now I just have to see if they carry the book here in Australia. I hope so since my Santa Cruz line is the only branch of my ancestry I keep hitting roadblocks in.

|Phelicia Gardner||About Joseph Santa Cruz and Ellen Barry|
I am writing because I just found out Jose "Joseph" Santa Cruz and Ellen Barry were my 4th Great Grandparents. Though I wanted to know how do you know they are buried there and if so that they are buried in Santa Cruz Cemetery together? I put in a photo request and a person who answered it were unable to find them in the Cemetery and said that the unmarked graves people related nearby didn't even know who the unmarks were. If you could shed some light on this I would be grateful.

I located a William T. Palmer b. Mar 22 1875, d. Sep 26 1942. Is this the grave you requested to be photographed? This is a double headstone. The other grave is Esta Lee T. Palmer b. Nov 1 1872, d. Feb 16, 1961. Is that "Nannie" Palmer? I photographed the headstone just in case.
