Nice to hear from you, Peggy. Wanted to let you know that I do have photos of most of the burials listed, as well as some linking still to do. ARe you related to someone there? Not many people even know about it, it seems.
Anyway, thanks for contacting me!

RE: Mary Irene Lamm Adams
No I didnt. I was researching for a family that the father was adopted, and was told his birth family was indian, and that his name was Adams. A document found named Will Adams and Jennie or Jenner Adams as his parents, and with Mary Irene (Lamm) Adams husband being W. W. Adams, I was researching from two viewpoints - Will Adams, and indian roots. From what I can find, this family isnt the family I'm searching for, but I posted what I found for others in their family to have access and clues.
I have other Adams families in my files, and if I find one that connects, I will be back! lol! Thanks Peggy!

Mary Irene Lamm Adams
Peggy I think I left a message for you on concerning these Lamm family members.

I'm trying to find out if the children of Mary Irene Lamm Adams (i.e. Roy L and William O. Adams) were adopted out. Irene was married 6 Aug 1903 Camden Co MO to W W Adams. But they were both living in Pryor Creek, Indian Territory at the time. Irene is the daughter of John Lamm and wife Nannie. John seems to be the son of James Lennox Lamm and Emiline Kelly. I know that Irene was Cherokee, and both of the boys were probably born at Ochelata, Washington Co., I T. They were enrolled.

John Lamm and wife Nannie seem to have died before 1900, as Irene said she and her sister Florence Ethel Lamm attended the Orphan Asylum School. Where that is, Im not sure yet. In 1900, Irene and Florence, as well as James and Emiline are living with Berdie (Lamm) Martin in Township 22, Cherokee Nation, I T. Berdie is listed as the head of house, and the girls are listed as her nieces. James & Emiline are Berdie's parents. Your info is all that I can find to connect to so far.

I am a contributor here on findagrave. You can leave me a message here, on, or email me . Thanks!

Finding Family
Peggy - I've got it changed from Betty to Bobby and have transfered him to you. If you have other family there, let me know...

Finding Family
Peggy - as for the "B" standing for Bobby instead of Betty, I'm going to let you make the call on that one - but I would think with his wife and son buried there, it'd almost have to be. The Hominy memorials were some of my first and I'm learing more every day. Someone had sent me an email stating that they knew it should be 'Betty' and I should have made a notation in the bio as to who had said that and didn't. I'd be glad to change it to 'Bobby' and list your name in the bio, if that's alright with you - just let me know. One last thing, if you knew the Richardson's, you'll probably know this...Social Security records list Bobby's DOB as 1916 and the headstone states 1918 - just a typo or engravers mistake?!?

there is no way to combine two memorials. I looked at them and saw only minor differences. My info came from the death certificate that can be viewed on line if you would like. I went ahead and deleted mine

Thanks for the information. I can't tell for sure if her name is spelled Lusetta or Lucetta and it could actually be an error by whoever made the stone. It's sad to see a stone broken and sinking into the ground.

While I appreciate the information you sent for Mrs Thomas, it appears to be a published obit and you didn't site your source.
