Thank you Mary and Donna for all the wonderful work you both do for Find a grave. It is lovely to be able to see the memorials for our family members who lived and died in USA. We will never forget them and it is a comfort to see their final resting Keep up the good work.
Very many thanks
Stella (from England)

Mary, Thank you so much for adding my Shaw cousins' graves to Find a Grave so I could find them, then transferring them to me. I have researched these lines many years, even searching for Angus Shaw's grave in the many, many in the Civil War cemeteries in Richmond, where he died. I wonder if his stone is more a memorial than an actual grave, since I really doubt his body was brought all the way back from Richmond (where he fell in the Battle of Mechanicsville) to Fayetteville, NC. Thnak you for all your work and sharing.

Mary, Thank you for so graciously transferring these 3 memorials to me. It will make it easier to add additional information, rather than sending info to you to enter.

|Sarah Johnson||Infant Earnest|
Hi Mary, I just noticed that I wrote your sister regarding the mother. Here is what I wrote to Donna. "Is this the same person as Mary E. Earnest, #51948834?" I was referencing Mary E. Earnest Wilson,#37760248, whose death date is the same. Both Mary E. Earnest and Mary E. Earnest Wilson are mentioned as being buried with their infant and they are listed in the same cemetery.
This was the rest of my message to Donna: "I have enjoyed looking at your memorials as I am a McPherson and Earnest descendant. My McPhersons came from Scotland to Maryland to Virginia, then to Tennessee and Georgia. My Earnest family came from Virginia to Georgia and Alabama."
I don't know if I am related to this woman and her infant or not. If you would like to transfer them, I will be happy to manage them. If you have time, please look at my site and look at my virtual cemeteries, especially on the Earnests and McPhersons.
Thanks for your prompt response, Mary. Have a great day!
