RE: Thank You
Nora,
I can send you a book if you want it. The cost is $20.00 plus a few bucks for shipping, I don't know what that is at the moment. E-mail me your address and I will do that for you. The book is nothing but information I have collected for that cemetery. I have taken thousands of photos, but, do not have them on a disk for sale. If you want any in particular, I would be glad to e-mail you a copy of the photo. I have surveyed several other Black cemeteries in the area as well. It seems like they just don't get the attention needed.

RE: Thank You
Nora,
You are very welcome. It was a lot of hard work. I put together a book on that cemetery if you are interested in it. It is available at the Morgan County Archives or at Bank Street Antiques. I have listed all of the people that I can find buried on the cemetery and photographed them as well. I have added bits of info on many people like the spouse, parents and inscriptions on the headstones. Military men and women are printed in red. This book is full of good information on my favorite cemetery in Decatur.

RE: OOPS!!!
Great. There were several who helped with this project, I input the data and Bonnie offered to post the pics. That's why in some instances you see pics taken by others and then those that Bonnie posted. My name is Peggy Towns, I just use "Jennie"
Blessings!

Parks
Nora,

Mary Lou Frances Hicks married Curtis Common Parks on Dec 22 1904. I have her buried at Mulberry Cemetery in Lincoln Co., Tn.
You have added # 93338154, Brit Parks, as a husband. Could you please remove him as she was never married to him. His wife may have been a lady named Mary, but it is not this Mary. Also you have added 2 children, daughters, Sallie May Parks #93339005 and Florence Parks # 93339297. These are also not her children. I think they may have been the children of Brit Parks but Mary Frances is not his wife nor the mother of these two girls.
I know these facts are true because Mary Frances Hicks Parks is a first cousin of mine.

Thanks so much for your help, Jan Hardin

It's always so sad for someone so young to pass away.

I'll transfer the memorial to you so you can add anything the family may want to add at a later time.

Blessings,
Linda

Re Bucene Blake
I did have a photo but had overlooked it. I've now uploaded it. It looks like the marker reads Bucene but is hard to read in photo. I've found several markers with typo errors so if you are assured the proper name is Eugene, we'll change it in Find A Grave. Thanks,
Jim

Fam Tree Hunter
Fellowship Cemetary
I am doing research on Randle Perkins Find A Grave Memorial# 76769531. I see the link to his father and wanted to know if you had any additional information on Randle Perkins outside of the death certificate. I am also looking for a contact person for Fellowship Cemetery and Carswell Grove Church. I would love to exchange info with you.

Phoenix
Nora,
I went to Phoenix cemetery today and took 140 photos. Some are different views. I'll get them posted as I can. I just this week finished taking over 500 photos at New Hope. I have 150 of them edited and posted. 400 more to go. The problem is I'm having to make the memorial pages as well. I don't have the pleasure of your wonderful pages already made! Your pages sitting there waiting for the photos is too good to be true!
Thanks for all you do!
Sue

Enon
Hi Nora,
The temperature finally got tolerable enough that I went out today and finished taking the photos at Enon. Sadly, the grass is high and that part of the cemetery has not been well kept. Grass has grown over many of the graves and for the most part the tombstones are very weathered and irreadable. That part of the cemetery, being across the street, must be the older section and most ignored. I will have them edited and posted in a couple of days.

Nora, glad to help! I have lots of data on the old families--especially the Williford (African American branch)family. Let me know if I can do anything else. I'm in Randolph County, AR. :-D

RE: Enon Springs
Thank you , Nora! I have a few more to do. Enon is split by the highway and I still have a few more to take on the other side of the highway. You've done a great job with the pages. There are a few typos but I'll send them after I get all the photos posted. I met the sweetest elderly church member who was outside doing repair work. When I told him I was a "volunteer" he said that brought joy to his heart. He volunteers 3 days a week to work on the church. He had a special love for 'volunteers'.

Enon Springs
Nora, I went to Enon Springs today and took 153 Photos, including 3 for the front page. It will take me a few days to edit them and post them. I want to tell you that you've done an outstanding job of the memorial pages. It's a real pleasure to post my pictures to such woderfully composed pages. Thank you for your beutiful work and the time and energy that you poured into it. I really appreciate you! I just finished the photos for Payne Cemetery and Brown Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Both are lovely, well kept small cemeteries that give you such a peacful feeling just to be there.

RE: Darin Leake
Nora, I transferred Darin's memorial to you. I added it because I've known Hayward so long and it's his grandson.

I'm glad you are adding memorials for Enon Springs. I've heard Hayward talk about that for years. ( or used to hear about it. He retired before I did and we didn't stay in touch except periodically when he would come to work to visit or I would drive by his house and see him out with the horses, then I would stop ) He told me where it was, but that was probably back in the 80s and I never did go look for it because we were working so much overtime.

How is Darin's Facebook listed. I did a search, but couldn't find anything. Can you send me a link? I would like to see it.
Linda

RE: Darin Leake
I am not surprised you have a common ancestor. Hayward's family is huge.

It certainly was a tragic thing. I feel so sorry for his family and the truck driver.
