William Lindsey Burden, Sr
This is my Great Grandfather through John Earley Burden. We know the grave of his wife but have been unable to locate his. Do you know if he is buried near her in Graceland?

Thanks,

Don

Shaneyfelts at Maple Hill
I posted pictures for Jackie, Charlie, Gertrude A., and Leeland Shaneyfelt. The records said that Charlie was buried in the lot with Jackie and Alvie. Is Gertrude A. the same as Alvie? The lot was Gertrude, Charlie and Jackie, so either Gertrude is Alvie or Alvie has no marker. I had to crop and compress the photos to post them. If you'd like copies of the originals, just let me know. Thanks!

Charlie Shaneyfelt
I'm going to fulfill your photo request sometime this week. It's supposed to rain this afternoon, so it probably won't be today. Charlie is buried with Alvie and Jackie Shaneyfelt, so I'll take pictures of them as well. Also in that lot are Annie and E. Elkins. Are they relatives that you'd like pictures of? There's one more Shaneyfelt listed in Maple Hill, Leelan Shaneyfelt, who is in the same Block but a different lot number (maybe 50 to 100 yards away). Is that a relative you'd like a picture of?

Thanks,
Heather

You are very welcome. I already had the photo you requested as I had gone there a good while back for a request for another Johnson grave and when I go to a cemetery for a request, I try to take all pics of that name buried there. Always glad to help.

Bill,

You are very welcome. I'm glad I could help. I'm sorry I didn't manage to get the other James Burden headstone you requested. The cemetery was quite large. I will try to get back over there one day and see if I can find it.

You are very welcome, my husband and I enjoy "looking for dead people". That is what our children call our interest in genealogy.

Sreptha Bray Burden
Is it possible her mother was Elizabeth Dutton?
I found
Name: J. C. Bray
Spouse: Elizabeth Dutton
Marriage: 14 Sep 1857 - Franklin, Georgia

and by the way her dad J.C. Bray is James C Bray buried in Lathamville Baptist Church in Ala. I posted his headstone myself. He is my Great-Great Grandfather. He had two wifes after Sreptha mom.

I think this is the child of Elijah Henry & Lucy Gentry Burden. It was a grave beside theirs. If you want me to transfer ownership, I will be glad to. Just let me know.

Hi
I am going to unclaim your picture request for now. I spent 5 hours over there the other day and found nothing! There is allot of missing markers and there are allot up in the woods where poison Ivy, vines and branches are. I went up into some of them but no luck. I found beer cans and all kinds of rubbish that tell me kids hang out and party which they probably are to blame for missing markers. My Husband will be here in 2 weeks and I want to take him out with me, he'll go in to places I won't. So I am going to unclaim it for now and then reclaim in 2 weeks! I'll let you know then if I over looked them yesterday or not.
Thanks
Marilyn
