Amos Parsons Jr. Memorial
Thank you for catching this duplicate record. I have deleted it. I did, however, update the date of birth on your record and added the photograph that to took last year. I try to be very careful in not uploading duplicate records, but they sometimes happen.

Sorry, I can't transfer them to you. I was mistaken, I didn't make any of the Memorials, I just added the pictures.

You're welcome. Would you like the Dell's transferred to you?

I posted a photo of his stone, however it is in Berkey Cemetery, Somerset Co., Pa. Where Florine Dell #81918775 is.
Your Memorial is in Lloyd Cemetery, Cambria Co. If you want me to delete it, I will.

Find A Grave deleted the obituary I added to your memorial. Unfortunately. Found out the hard way that posting obituaries of any kind? is a "no-no".
Seems the Find A Grave is worried about copyright infringement and privacy concerns. Far as I am concerned, Obituaries are posted for all the world to see and can be found on-line.

Regardless, if you would like a jpg image of the obituary, send me the email address you would like me to forward it to. - Will Stamps (trying) to "Give the World A Smile."

My cousin, Delbert Jones of Algood, Tennessee left me most of his genealogy hobby - among which were about 10 boxes of newspaper obituary clippings plus weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. Over a thousand down, 4-500 more scanned and ready to locate with Find A Grave and still some 40 thousand left to go. (I don't dare count them. Can't count that high.) From a genealogist's point of mind, I don't mind. I think of how many people, researching their families, will find their family links in these obituaries - due to the many family members and relationships that are listed. -- I am noticing the many people who left middle Tennessee during the depression of the 1930's - looking for work in places like Detroit, Dayton, Greenwood Indiana, etc. My father's family is one of many moving from Tennessee to Detroit. Your family is one of these families.

Emmett,

Thank you very much for the heads-up. I'm normally very careful to not add duplicates. I probably missed that since the two memorials are listed in two different cemeteries. I always delete the duplicate created later but in this case mine was in the correct cemetery.

However, you have a good point about yours being indexed, etc. If you don't mind transferring your memorial to me, I can update yours and add all of the links, etc. then delete mine. That would solve all the problems and keep all the info intact if you're willing.

Thank you for your help!
