Coons at the Cool Springs Cemetery
Hey BuffyLynn
I pulled out a survey done by Gerald & Joan Hidle in October 1998 and could not find the Coons I was interested in so I'm going to assume they are unmarked. No need to try to get a photo and I removed the photo requests.
Thank you for your concern and efforts.
Your friend,

RE: Sweet Home
Buffy Lynn
That would just be AMAZING! Thank you so much for your kindness and wonderful heart!
I adored my "Granddaddy Potter". He performed the marriage of my mom and dad and then eighteen years later he did the same for my husband and I. What a wonderful treat!
Thank you so very much!

Thank you for setting up the memorials at Sweet Home Baptist Church and most recently for transferring my great grandparents and great uncle to me.
FYI, "Granddaddy Potter" was a LONG time pastor at the church. I regret that I never got to see him preach there although I have heard that someone has a video of him preaching.
The rumor is that it belongs to the owner of a beauty/barber shop across the street from the old Opp nursing home. I know it's a stretch but if you or anyone who might read this has any clues I'd be forever grateful.

Amanda Canion
Thank you.
Hello Buffy,
I just wanted to let you know that the photo posted for Reverend Noah Parker Sr.(1804-1867) Is actually Noah P. Parker (1882-1962) who is also buried in the same cemetery. If you could correct this it would be greatly appreciated. Was Noah P. Parker the only Parker tombstone at the cemetery? I hate to think that the others might be in unmarked graves, but it is a possibility. Thank you so much for your help and for trying to fill my photo request.
