RE: John F. Gibson
Hi Charlotte,

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! I've been busy cleaning house - we have company coming tomorrow (Tues & Weds). Yes, I posted John Frederick Gibson's birth, death, and divorce decree public records, since I have not any real photos of him family. At least I have his cemetery marker/headstone thanks to you!!! The divorce decree does mention the date John Frederick Gibson and my grandmother Adeline Florence Lettau got married in Stamford, CT within the finalized divorce decree document, as well as the name of their only child born of their marriage - my father William Emile Gibson. So I didn't bother posting their marriage record.

Yes, please email me any other photos you have taken. Thank you very, very much! My email address is: (That's a zero 8 after my nickname of Bitsy, not an alphabetical O).

Thank you sooooo much for getting out in the rain again and taking this photo of his headstone marker. What a dedicated volunteer you are!!!

I'll look forward to hearing from you and seeing the other photos you will be emailing me.

I would still like to get my grandfather's info complete on and still need to email the person in charge of "Editing the info". For example his date of birth was July 20, 1896 and he born in Stamford, CT, and the name of his ex-wife, my paternal grandmother listed on his memorial page on www.FindAGrave...haven't done that yet, but public records I've posted to his memorial page confirm all the important dates, life events, and name of his only child - my dad.

I'll look forward to hearing from you and again, thank you very, very much!!!

RE: John F. Gibson
Oh My Goodness - Thank you very much Charlotte!!! Sorry you had to get out in the rain! I wish you could send that rain down here to our drought stricken part of south-central Texas! I am so happy to hear your news that my Grandfather has a cemetery marker of where he is buried. Sounds like his date of birth and date of death isn't etched on his marker. I have his certificate of birth, marriage license and divorce decree and his death certificate which I ordered and paid for from Fairfield County records and library archives in Fairfield County, Connecticut. As you know, my father William Emile Gibson Sr. was John "Jack" Frederick Gibson's only child. My brother Wm. E. "Billy" Gibson and I are the only 2 grandchildren of John F. Gibson. Neither my brother Billy nor I ever had any children. We're too old now to have any children, so the branch of descendants of John F. Gibson has stopped growing. It's very doubtful anyone in the future will ever care as much about John F. Gibson other than mysef and my brother. I will be the only one who will ever be able to email or mail you copies this information as my brother "hates" computers, refuses to buy or use one as much as possible (weird, but true). I have my family tree on Ancestry listed as "Private" so no Ancestry members can "see" my family tree except ME, and a few cousins who I have sent "Guest" invitations. Being that my brother and I will never have any children I should probably post John F. Gibson's marriage/divorce, and death certificate to where it would be available in the future for "public" viewing of F.A.G. members researching. I could also email them to you so you would have verification to be able to edit John F. Gibson's data on FindAGrave - how does that sound? Thank you again every so much!!! My poor dear Grandfather Gibson, I wish his only son had known him, as well as my brother and I. I can't remember if I told you or not, but I just learned last year that during World War I he suffered a severe head/brain injury, had to have a steel plate put in his head. The Gibson cousin has told me that the Gibson family relatives said John "Jack" F. Gibson "was never the same after receiving the head injury in WWI". Which may partially be the reason why my dad's parents divorced. So much for the wedding vow of "in sickness and health" by my grandmother Adeline Lettau Gibson! Well, I don't know how seriously affected but if the family said he was never the same after the injury - must have been pretty obvious. I can certainly make judgements on anyone, including my grandmother. Thank you again!!!!! I am so excited!!!

Thank you very much Charlotte, you are an Angel walking among. I am very excited to here from you so quickly to say the least. I dearly hope my grandfather has a headstone, but if he doesn't I certainly would like to get one for him. Thank you for taking the time describing the cemetery where he is buried so well sounds like a very lovely cemetery which does my heart good to know he is buried in a very nice cemetery. Thank you again very, very much. Best Regards, Elizabeth Adeline "Bitsy" Gibson Wagner, Wimberley, Texas.

Wow, six days. Crazy weather. I hope we don't see any more s-n-o-w for a long while yet!

We're in Central, NH, about three hours from Hartford, CT. Kind of far, I think.

Photo Request - Malcolm White, Jr.

How nice of you to provide an update on this photo request. We were without power for four days, ourselves; the number of tree branches down is staggering.

I'll appreciate the photo whenever it is safe and convenient for you. Thanks so much for being a photo volunteer!

RE: Catherine Songer and William Marshall Lister
They are my Great Great Grandparents also. My line comes from their daughter, Ellen Lister (who married Robert Isaacs), their son, George Isaacs (who married Emma Noelck), their son (my Dad) George Isaacs Jr. (my Mom was Jean Lunsford), and to me, Mark Isaacs.

Guthrie plots at Eskridge KS cemetery
I have posted a family marker that is located at the Guthrie gravesite in Eskridge. We searched the whole area and did not find any individual markers for the relatives you requested. The records of the cemetery are a little sketchy but this is the only Guthrie location there.

George Guthrie
Saw the message you left on Seonaidh's page regarding George Guthrie. I sent her a SAC, but have not yet heard back. George (and presumably his wife also) are not buried in the Hollidaysburg Presbyterian cemetery; they are buried in the Holliday Burial Ground. His memorial was added back in 2004 by Kat from NJ, and I photographed his grave last summer. He is memorial #9726784.

RE: Christopher Lister
Hello Charlotte,

Thank you for your nice note. It is much appreciated.

I take many random pictures and add to memorials listed on Findagrave but rarely hear from anyone so what a delight for me that you took time from your busy schedule to contact me.

Wishing you a happy and safe 2010.
