Robert C. Rollins
Robert Christopher Rollins, 69, died suddenly at his residence near Arkwright at 7 o'clock yesterday morning. Funeral services will be conducted at the Southside Baptist Church at 3 o'clock this afternoon by the Rev. J.J. Vipperman, pastor of Southside, assisted by the Rev. H.V. Tanner, former pastor of Southside. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Mr. Rollins is survived by his widow, Mrs. Emma Rollins; one daughter, Miss Virgie Rollins and one adopted son, Joe Tuck (obit cuts off here)

 | George "Wash" Hughes I am also a decendent of "Wash" Hughes. His son William Curtis Hughes born 1852 or 1854 in Spartanburg, SC is not listed with his children. He married a Mary P Wells and had 6 children and died around 1900 and she remarried a John Wallace. One of his boys was Robert Cal Hughes that married Senie Seay and they lived in Clyde (Haywood County) N.C. Their daughter Wilma Irene Hughes Rader was my mother. I have been several times to Crooked Ridge Cemetery and had pictures but can't find the disk I had them on, at crooked Ridge, James and Rachael Price and Jobe and Margaret "Lula" and their baby daughter Jennie Price are buried there.I am going to place them on Find A Grave that's why I'm getting Freddy to take the pictures. The cemetery is on a dead end road called Bobcat Lane. The name of the road was changed from Shady Lane Road to Bobcat Lane. Google maps and some of the others still list it as Shady Grove. The road signs have Bobcat Lane.
Go to Google maps, do a search for the coordinates above, zoom in 4 clicks. The green arrow marks the cemetery.
