Thank you very much for taking the time to link James to his father Afanasi Saikowski.

|Sandymento||RE: Possible 3rd marriage?|
Thanks...just trying to sort thru the multiple marriages. I'm also trying to track down a record for my ancestor (Annettia Kiple West) and have a film coming to my local Genealogy library that might help. :) I'm not sure why there would have been a brief marriage between them...but Annettia doesn't die until 1936 so I don't see how he could be a widower. Then again...if it was a brief marriage ...then maybe they both chose not to ever speak of it! Either way...just trying to get to the bottom of this...and thanks for responding!

I've found a document showing my GR grandmother married Robert Henry Peters in 1925...yet no other mention online,like here in his obit. Do you have any connection to this man and/or his family?

|patrick lincoln||RE: Almira (Hoit) Cahoon|
Someone named Mike Zmolek contacted me and said that Wm. Cahoon was buried unmarked at a cemetery in Portage, but hasn't returned which one. But also said that he, Cahoon, had written for a military journal under a pseudonym. (?)
Wm. and Almira Cahoon are on the 1870 census with all children.

George Henry (married Helen Leroy)
In Cora's bio., she dates her mother's death to 1872, and that her father was a teacher.

|patrick lincoln||Almira (Hoit) Cahoon|
I am looking for any information about William and Almira (Hoit) Cahoon) who lived a little up the road from Spring Lake Cemetery, in Green Lk. Twp., back in the 1860-70s, and what happened to them, where he went and where she who died in the 1870s sometime is buried. (?) Her family all lived right around her there too. Curriers who are buried east at the Center House; her father Joseph and brother Nathan, who moved to Ripon later and are buried there. If you have anything that can help me out I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks, Pat Lincoln.

You have a photo request in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery that I have claimed. I have photos of what I believe is the entire cemetery, unless somehow I missed one or two. It is about 4000 photos so if my claim expires do not worry. I will try to transcribe all of them. A few are very old and very hard to read even in person but I'll do my best. Hopefully among the 4000 is the your photo request. I am sorry if I missed taking a picture of yours or if yours is one of the ones I can't read at all.

Thank you for the transfer of the Jantz's graves to me. You didn't have to do that! You certainly have given me some good clues to look for in solving the mystery of little Marlene. For now I have her with the parents you assigned to her. I don't know why I didn't think of looking for her with August or Arthur! I will check into it. And, yes, it is possible she belongs to the Jentz family and it is a misspelling, but I would be more likely to think she belongs to the Jantz family.
Thank you SO MUCH for all your work.
God bless you!

|Rita Filler||Jantz Family|
I'm the wife of the Great Grandson of John and Emma Jantz, buried in the St. Matthew Cemetery, Kossuth Iowa. I noticed there is a child buried in the same cemetery that here on findagrave is connected as the daughter of John and Emma, little Marlene Marie. Would you be so kind as to tell me, is she buried beside, or within close range of John and Emma? You see, I can't find a birth record for her, and we never knew she even existed until I found her on findagrave. I'm wanting to prove her birth. If she's buried very close to John and Emma it's a good indication she IS theirs.

I forgot to ask if you knew of Williard Fairchild from Waverly and I also had letters from 2 ladies but they are hiding right....one lady wanted to know if any information found on John Henry Fairchild and I see he is not on the list at Lower Spring Grove. I have all infomation about him and 2nd wife as I found it in my abstract and her lst husband is buried on lot with my ancestors but I do not know her maiden name. My husband and I were traveling once and looked up graves and the child (they were Killed in a weather related) accident. They had no stones.
I also have Fairchild book as my husband is relation to some and I saw some names I know are still alive...have a good day..

Please would you contact me. I have lots of information to share on Fairchild and others. My husband was ill for so long and passed away a few weeks ago. I have time now to update as I have new information that someone left at the Funeral Home and have no idea who but lots of obits in it... Hope you answer...

That's strange, I can't find it either. Only thing I can think of, since Frederick is the name I sent to you instead of Fred, there must have been a duplicate memorial that I didn't know about until later in the day and I emailed him/her to delete the duplicate memorial. Thanks for looking into this. Louis

You are right, I checked again when I was able to get home (using Dad's computer when your info came in) and check my source. The information was from the sourse that I previously mentioned. The mistake occurred when I turned the page and obviously did not continue in the right place!
Thanks so much for the heads up and I have it corrected the memorial. I will check on getting some connections eventually.
