I do not think that the cemetery in Turner can be closed until all of the memorials are moved. There is a problem crossing county lines. Hopefully it can be corrected before too long.

I searched the lot belonged to a Ada Stevens that died in 1931 and found no headstone. It appeared to be an unmarked grave. There is an Ida V Stevens born 1897 and died 1971 in a different block. Is this perhaps the grave your looking for?

Thank you so much for transfer of Haskil's Memorial. I wasn't expecting that - what a pleasant surprise. A very warm and loving gesture from you.

|Pilgrim||RE: Harriet Wonder|
You're welcome! I didn't find Susanna Wonder. I figured "Roy Smith" must really be Ray Smith since the years matched up. I put in a request to the creator of the entry to correct the name to Ray. I was at the cemetery looking for some relatives and decided to look for the "requests" while I was at it.

Wow! Thank you so much for requesting his obituary! I don't know why I didn't think of that. Please let me know if there is any charge and I will gladly reimburse you. Thanks, again!

Hi! The memorial owner changed the date to 1839 and we have him now connected to Annie and his son. If you want to get another photo, cool, but the main thing was our making sure this was the right person to connect. Thanks for ALL you do on Find a Grave!

|Cherie_in_OC||Walter Rastall, Memorial 35145816|
Greetings! Thanks for placing the photos on this memorial! Wondering if you might live near there and able to take another photo. We think this is Walter Rastall, wife of Annie, who was born in 1839. The memorial says 1899 and the third number in the date on the stone is a little unclear, but I think this Walter is Annie's husband. Their son is buried between the two, so it kinda makes sense. He lived in Colorado Springs in 1900. Thanks so much! (The son married a cousin of mine...)

You're very welcome. Do you know if the Lakewood stone is a cenotaph or is the memorial in Los Gatos cemetery (#128331002)a different individual? It seems unlikely that two people should have identical names, birth & death dates.

You are so nice. I had Franks' obit and Edith's second marriage but I ordered Edith's obit from the library (but it did give me her death date from the obit....yeah)...what a great service that is...wish all libraries did that and they don't charge! I am going to send them something any way after all the flooding and the poor economy. Research on this family has been amazing and very sad. Edith and Frank's daughter, Gladys, committed suicide...a lookup volunteer on Facebook's Random Acts of Genealobical Kindness that has several newspaper programs found them for me. Hoping that I can get an obit from WI will tell me where she is buried. Thanks again. PS...Frank was the assistant postmaster in CS!

Thank you so much. Can't wait to get the obit...have no patience....does it say she died in Michigan? RIP Edith....thanks again.

Thank you so much...I will take if off immediately....thanks too for the links...wish every cemetery did that....I did find an article from the Colorado Spring Directory from 1882 that list's Glady's father, Frank P. Lombard as assistant postmaster and I have his obit...going to post them.

|Lora Treadwell||Evergreen-Frank P. Lombard #28500327|
Hello....You took a photo of where we think Frank P. Lombard is buried with his wife's sister, Stella Dickey. I just found out that his daughter, Gladys Lombard Hall died January 12, 1939 in Wisconsin. She was living with her husband and son in the Chicago area so am wondering if she is really buried in the Evergreen? Probably no family still llving there so why would her husband have the body sent to Colorado and there is no tombstone? He was a wealthy man. He remarried and he and his second wife are buried in Evanston, IL....any cemetery records available or a tombstone? Thanks

Hi friends. Please check your email for two messages about my efforts to find this grave. So far only a couple of clues. I look forward to solving this one together.

Just filled your request at Willoughby Village. Stone is close to Michael (1954) and Connie (1959) Lanning. No idea if related, just how the plots are laid out, etc. Just FYI if that's helpful in any research. I have a photo of both in one shot if you're interested.

Again, a most heart felt thank you. Your reference photos helped us find my Grandfather's mother's gravesite in minimal time. We are doing a 3 day family history research vacation here in Victor and you photos helped us find Maymie. Great job!
