Traci's Mom
Token you left for Traci Fields
Thank you very much for the token you left for my angel daughter Traci. She was a wonderful gift from GOD, and she's in my heart and mind every single day. Her passing has left major holes in the hearts of her family and friends.

I appreciate you helping to reach my goal of 5,000 tokens by her birthday, November 20th. Actually, thanks to you and other findagravers, so far today Traci has received 6,026 flowers/tokens. That makes my family and I extremely happy. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I'm thankful and blessed for your kindness. GOD bless you for your heavenly heart.

I am so overwhelmed with all the findagrave friends requesting flowers/tokens for my Traci. Thank you ever so much!

This is something I wrote for Traci:

It was a cold, quiet night at the cemetery. The snow was falling gently to the ground. The only sound that could be heard was the whistling of the wind. Off in the distance I suddenly heard the tiny sound of jingling bells. I looked around and wondered where the life was in the stillness of this cemetery.

As I gazed around, I saw a ray of moonbeam shining down on a small Christmas tree.

I thought to myself, "This is where the life is in the cemetery!"

Ring the bells this holiday season in memory of those you love.

RE: Greenwood Cemetery
I have been in and out and done so many people in greenwood thru the last 8 or 9 years. I now have a cemetery book and I check to see who has a stone picture and who doesnt and then I take that section and take pictures not online. I just took 97 pictures in Block 13 and Im posting them and trying to link the family and get obits etc.
fun
I think online is great I just wonder what happened to all of the work that the group did last years and the time they spent there.
Its a job for lots of people I think. The sexton book list so many people without stones etc. Will take year to get it correct and right
I told him and several other people that they also need to go to find a grave and see what has already been put in.

RE: Greenwood Cemetery
I talked to Lynn couple of times and I think he
is going to do his best. He worked a complete different job. There were volunteers that started when Adam was there and they were mapping out and etc taking pictures but someone told me that he doesnt want to work with him?? This is a very hard cemetery to try and walk so time will tell

Thought maybe you would like to maintain his memorial. I know you will take good care of it. Thanks for catching my error - Find A Grave does not like duplicates. Thanks. Lois

Hi Shari....thanks so much for catching the duplicate. I must have been really distracted that day and when I came back to the computer, started over again. Gads!
My rearch line is Wanda W Williams and I was lucky to find a little bit of info on Winnie Dodson Ray Williams. Best I can tell, she doesn't appear to be part of your Dodson's. Glad you found the duplication.
The duplicate has been deleted. Good luck with your research....Judy

John M. Birt (My 2nd GG Father)
Find A Grave Memorial# 22550937

Some additional information has become available on this person: Lot #124, Grave #5 can be added to this memorial.

Also, a minor error with two different marriage dates listed, the first as 28 Oct 1865 and the other slightly below it (probably a typo) stating the marriage date as 18 Oct 1865? The 28th is correct, for the record. I have two of their marriage documents on file.

Spangler Cemetery was once known as Brush Collage FYI.
