RE: Hollie Scott

Yes, Dulan's full name is Hollie Dulan Bradley Scott. I had sent a edit request on her name and it had not been corrected when I sent the photo request.

Thank you so much for photos of both Dulan and Osburn's stones.

I do appreciate the kindness.

RE: Vawter - Wirt Cem
Hi, I am not related to the Vawter's - I found Elizabeth Vawter's obit while searching for someone in my family and it is rare to find an obit from the 1830's and I thought that someone in this family line would appreciate it. I posted a few more articles on the Vawter's - interesting family! Karen

RE: Matthew Wise
You are very welcome. I went to the church for a meeting, had a bit of time...I thought all stones there had been photographed. I did not find 2 requests but will go back. Added 2 new memorials ..anyway, yes the stones were put in rows to preserve. I do know that was several years ago. I am unsure if there are photos of before. I can check. I do want to transcribe M. Wise's stone. It is hard to read due to staining. Enjoy!

Lovonia Vonie Whaley Shurum
Hi Mary!!

Thanks so much for the pic. I see half of her stone is missing. :( I really appreciate your efforts in getting this for me!!

The Shurum graves next to hers, do you remember their names? Also, are you the one who looked for Moses' grave? Was there an open place next to her grave where perhaps he was buried? His tombstone may be totally gone. :( These are my 2nd great grand parents.

Again, thank you so much for your help!! I live so far away.....

Robert Lee Thrash
Mary, I have seen Robert Lee Thrash mentioned in Thrash family research that I have done, he is more that likely kin to Leonard Thrash which was distant kin to me.

Moore Graves - Macedonia Cemetery, Chambers County, AL

This morning I photographed the tombstone for John H. Moore. No information on parents, but he is buried with four other Moore children. Next to John is "Silas & L. Moore Infant", and also down the line James F. Moore, who is shown in the 1850 Chambers County Census with Silas and Lydia Moore. I've linked all five of these children with Silas and Lydia at Chana Creek Cemetery. If you think I am incorrect in doing so, I'll unlink. Macedonia Cemetery is only one mile from my house, and many of my mother's family are buried there. I have posted most of the memorials to F.A.G. from this cemetery, and have also linked a great number of these. Hope this helps.
