RE: Gerald Duty
You're welcome Daniel. Gerald and I worked for the same people, just in different areas. I knew him, and liked being around him. I'm seeing a lot of grave stones of people I used to work with in this cemetery. Brings back good memories.
Best wishes,
Paul

Leanna Leek
possible correction
I took a picture of Laura Royster's grave, however, if this is the right one, she is buried in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Du Quoin. Can you make this correction if this is true? Thanks.

RE: Bobby Seay
Hello Daniel,
You are very welcome for the photo. I'm sorry it took so long. Oregon weather doesn't alway make it easy to get out and take photos in the fall and winter months, and some sections of Willamette National are more muddy than others.

John Howell
Hi Daniel,

You posted a photo on the memorial for John Howell # 83773489 in M'boro City Cemetery and I was wondering if you would also post it to his wife Martha # 83773496, and son Marshall # 83773504, because they all share the same headstone.

Thanks so much,

Kim

Mt. Carbon Cemetery
Hi Dan,
As a Murphysboro local, I'm hoping you can tell me who maintains Mt. Carbon Cemetery. I'm trying to obtain burial records and hours of internet searches have proved fruitless. Also, do you know if Mt. Carbon is also called New Hill?
Any help is appreciated!
Melissa

Hudson
Your recent photographic foray into Hudson noted. Beautiful pix. Find A Grave# 92748284 is certainly a classic! Would you like management of any of my memorials there?

The Logan and Roberts stones
Hey, Dan - Thank you for going to City Cemetery to take these photos. My sister Sue was saying just yesterday that she wanted to look at all the Logan tombstones the next time she's down home. Thanks!

Visiting your area
Hi Dan, I'm planning a visit to southern IL this summer to discover my roots. Thank you for the WHELCHEL pics and info you provided here. Your pic of John Wesley was the first time I've ever seen my G-G-Grandfather. What an awesome feeling. Thanks again! Michelle

Thank You
Daniel -

I have several family (Easterly) members who were born, raised, and died in Ava/Murphysboro, IL. Many of your listings have assisted me in my genealogic research.

B/c I live in California, it's unlikely that's I'd ever find this information anywhere else. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
