Thanks for changing the name on this memorial. I am still skeptical of the parents you have listed. What leads you to believe they came from that area of England ?
I think Robert and Mary Sutton of Biddenden, Kent Co., were George's parents. Biddenden is very close to Tenterden, where we know George resided as a young man. This is listed on the ship's manifest for the Hercules of Sandwich in March of 1634/1635.
This fall, I stood at the baptismal font at All Saint's in Biddenden where a George Sutton, son of Robert was christened in Dec 1606. About a year earlier a Robert Sutton and Mary Austen were married at All Saint's.
Please let me know where your information comes from. Thank you.

|Sherri Luce||Philip Waltz|
Philip Waltz is related to me through my Williams/ Ordel lines. Philip's parent's were Joseph Waltz and Catherine Elizabeth Williams. Peter Williams and Rosanna Ordel were Catherine's parent's and Philip's grandparents. Is it possible for me to download a copy of the picture you posted of Philip and his wife Zelda and baby.

|Debra Rosenbloom||John Conger|
I am also a descendant of John Conger and his wife Sarah....via Benjamin Conger to Daniel Conger to Abigail Conger. I don't see where his name is listed as Belconger, but I would greatly appreciate any documentation to that fact.
I have John Conger's will transcript right here in my hands.
His actual DEATH DATE is January 11, 1710/1, and the will was PROVED August 27, 1712.
The will transcript can also be found on Ancestry.com now, at this link...
Also, I can be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you contact me, please tell me in the subject line who the email is in reference to. I get many emails, and don't quite know where to begin with some of them at times.

Could you please tell me the source of the birth and parentage info you have on George Sutton, who came to America on the Hercules in 1634/35? I descend from his son William.
We have just returned to USA from a research trip to Kent. There is no baptismal record for George in the Tentenden register. However, we did find that his wife Sarah Tilden was baptized there.
A George Sutton, son of Robert was baptized in nearby Biddenden in Dec. of 1607. His parents were possibly Robert Sutton and Mary Austen, married there Oct. 13, 1606.
There were at least 3 Robert Suttons in that parish about that time. Are you sure of the Essex connection ?

Hi - I saw your message on the memorial page and wanted to let you know I found a wonderful pix of your relative while doing research - I added the flag and source of the pix. I hope you don't mind that I posted the picture. It's always a treasure to find a picture - especially if it's one that you may not have seen before? If you'd rather have it removed, I would - please let me know. It's from a Marine Corp book - of people who served aboard the US New Jersey. I scanned the picture from a copy I have.

|Mary Joan||Gilbert Lane|
Okay, you are going to think Ii am a crazy lady! I should have left the inital W. off my last two messages.
It is William Lane and Gilbert Lane that have the same birth and death dates!
But I an still confused about who was the Veterans of the Rev War. Seems like Gilbert W. is right, but William would have been in his early 50's when the Rev was going on?
Well I am going to stop for tonight (morning) it is getting too late so I was trying to hurry and get the message to you before I shut down and then goofed it up royally!!!

I have been looking at these two men's memorials in the Lane Family Cemetery and have decided they might be one in the same person? Can you share any info about them?
The memorials have the same birth and death dates; also both memorials list Jannetje Rappalyea as wife.
You have created the memorial for Gilbert W. #46195415 and his wife Jannetje Rappalyea Lane 46195415
TomKat created the memorial for William Lane #16729533
I have been researching the ancestors of a Timbrook family in Defiance Co., OH and one of their maternal lines leads back to William Lane in Somerset Co., NJ.
I want to document his Find A Grave memorial in my research, but want to be sure I have the correct memorial and given name.
I would appreciate any info to help me determine who is who! Thanks for all you have done to preserve your lifetime "home" county cemetery data. I am a lifetime resident of Defiance Co., OH and know what an asset it is to connect with a lifetime resident of a county ancestors lived in!

|Bertha B. Buttner||My Apgar connection|
Just wanted to say Hi! I have a "distant" connection with the Apgar family.
My great great grandfather was John C. Biebigheiser 8806120 and his second wife was Mary Lance Apgar 8902447.
They did not have any children with each other but did have children from previous marriages.
John was 1st married to Catherine Oathout and they had
John H. Biebigheiser and Emma Louise Miller Biebigheiser.
Mary Lance Apgar & her 1st husband James Apgar
had Hannah Sophia Apgar and a few other children who's names I can't remember at the moment.
Hannah gave one of her children the middle name of Biebigheiser. His full name was John Biebigheiser Nunn.
Just thought you'd like this information. :)
Thanks. Have a Great Day :)

|Jefferson Apgar||Hello Wayne|
Over the last few days I have been searching my bloodline over the net. I've always known about Virginia Apgar, however, my desire to further discover where I come from has become an obsession. I am the great great grandnephew of Virginia Apgar and grandson of Melvin Apgar and the son of Donald Joseph Apgar. I would love to devote some time to you and learn anything and everything you have to teach me. I was born August 5, 1985 (8/5/85) in Ventura California and am now 29 years old and living in Los Angeles. Any sort of reply would be an upmost importance to me. Thank you for your time, and I hope this message finds you.
