COFFEE/COFFEY from KY
My g-grandmother was Martha Coffee, dau of Rolly (et al), born in KY. He was son of Ambrose.
My 2nd cousin married Chattie Coffey, son of Wesley Hall, brother of Ephram. Or should it really be Ephraim?

Do you know the parents of Wesley & Ephram?

Many of our Coffee line have changed the name to Coffey and I am trying to see if any of the are connected. There was a great migration of COFFEEs from KY to MO. Then down into OK.

Anything you can tell me would be helpful and greatly appreciated. Thank you, chris # 46852418

RE: Tomlinson question
Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear about your software problem - what a nightmare for you!!!! When you're restored and ready, let me know and I'll be happy to share some new items I've found, or obit transcriptions, etc. I've put quite a few of those on FG already, I think. The new items are more "fluff", like where Isaac Tomlinson is listed as buying two hogs at an estate auction, interesting tidbits like that. Anyway, I'm happy to share, so again, just let me know if and when. Take care!

Tomlinson question
Hi Sharon - long time no talk to! I'm back on the Tomlinson research, and wondered if you have any documentation that shows that Henry is the father of Isaac? I've been going through probate records and so far have had no luck. I do find where Henry is in Braxton County with two men, one of whom might be Isaac just a year before Isaac married Anna there, but that's it. I'm chasing down a possible DAR line, and have hit a brick wall with actual proof of connecting Isaac to Henry. Thanks! - "Cousin" Leslie

Talton Peter Ingle
Hi I'm doing family research and have come across a possible name just seeing if you may know of anything of him his name that I can figure is Talton Peter Ingle born in 1875 and died in 1897 or 1898. He married Martha Gertrude Cotton (the Cotton's are who I'm following) Saw where you had a Peter Talton Ingle so wasn't sure if that could be his father. The little I found said Talton was born in Mississippi and Died in Gladewater, Gregg County, Texas. Him and Martha had one child in 1897 named Walter.

I have left a news item on your family member. I had to find his name on the 1910 census before I could find him.

Gravestone Photo Permission
Sharon,

I am happy to see that you photographed the gravestone of Nicola Alford Anthony in Carney Cemetery (Memorial# 62764342).

I would like to add this gravestone photo to the (non-profit) Alford American Family Association's collection of Oklahoma Obituaries, where her obituary will be included. You can see the current collection at http://www.alfordassociation.org/OBITS/OKOBIT.htm.

May I have your permission to include your gravestone photos? If so, the photo caption will say:

Photo from [cemetery name, city, county, state]—www.findagrave.com
Permission granted by the photographer, Sharon Spain Ingle

And thanks so much for your gravestone photo work!

Best regards,
Pamela Alford Thompson (Find A Grave #47195155)

Which side of the family are you related to? I'm guessing my mother's since you had so much info. I can post some pics later of some of the people like Walter Leadmon's family. We always called him Poppy.

Hi, Thank you for adding me. I have gotten a lot of info about my family from this site. My father is James F. Briscoe. His wife is Hester L. Leadmon Briscoe. On his page it said they had 7 children. They actually had 12 children. I am number 11. Just thought I would let you know in case anyone else is using the site. Thank you

Thank you for letting me know of my error in posting this memorial. Guess when posting I did not realize there were 2 Liberty Cemeteries in Custer County. It has now been corrected and I will ck to see if there are others.
