Erwin Memorials-Col Arthur Erwin
Today I found the memorial for Col Arthur Erwin, at the Erwin Family Cemetery, Bucks Co, PA. Wondering if you are related to this family or just setup the memorials. We have visited there as my husband is an Erwin. Trying to connect his gg-grandfather to his ancestors. Look forward to a reply, and would love to hear at my personal email,
Thank you.

RE: Gen. Francis E.Erwin photo
Hi Joanne:
The photo came from:
History of Steuben County, New York, which
can be viewed full text on-line. It was
published in 1879 so it is not in copyright.
Anybody can use the photos and the information.
My computer for some reason lately will not
copy and paste so I cannot send you the link.
I simply google: "History of Steuben County
New York, full text." If you cannot get into
it let me know.
The Erwins that I have found in this book:
1) Col. Arthur Erwin, from Ireland.
No photo just a biographical sketch.
2) Arthur H. Erwin (brother of Gen. Francis Erwin),
has a biographical sketch and a portrait.
I just added his portrait to his memorial.
3) And Gen. Francis E. Erwin, has the portrait
and a biographical sketch.
There may be other Erwins' I did not go through
the whole book.
Hope this helps, good luck.

RE: Thank you!
Is there a way you can email me the map of the layout of the graves? I know I have one but can't seem to find it.
I found my pictures of that cemetery on my hard drive and they are pictures of the ones that I was able to make out. It could be, your stone is unreadable.
I can go back and try, using the map I'll take a photo of the stone that is there..readable or not.
Hows that sound?

I've added memorials for Anne's parents along with a sister, Esther, and uploaded photos of the third side of the monument. -Charles

RE: Thank you!
Glad we could help. Have uploaded a picture fulfilling your photo request for Anne Wilkes. I also created a memorial for their 2 year old son, James. I can transfer that to you if you would like. -Charles

P.S. - Anne's memorial is a duplicate, you might consider deleting the other one. Also, Anne's death date on the stone is Jan 11, 1870.

I have photos for the other two sides of the stone relating to Shannons.

Islebee - I have the photos you requested, and I would appreciate a photo request for Giles. In the photo request remarks mention "Stephen K has photo" to prevent duplicate work by others.
Thanks, Stephen

Thanks for finding her. I "unclaimed" that photo request so you can fulfill it with the photos you took, or you could email them to me and I'll attach them.
Requestor is now looking for Thomas Blake (d 1942) and Olive Blake (d 1957). Those requests popped up right after I got home from the last trip (sigh). Thought I passed a Blake stone in the southwestern part of the main cemetery, thought of taking a random picture of it but didn't. Wrote the requestor I probably wouldn't be over there again until Spring.
