|James Byrd (McLeod)||location of grave marker 35107149|
I looked at New Hope for the grave of James Jackson Stone (35107149) is the number on findagrave.
I couldn't find it any where. There are a couple of bricks without a marker, adjacent to his wife, Angeline Jowers Stone. They were my gg- grandparents.
I know that you added so many markers. Do you know where it was, and when?

|Donna Deason||George Wheeler|
Hello, I am researching my family, and George is my 3rd Great Grandfather. I am trying to find his wife's name, and it looks like there might be another name on the left of the headstone, but it is cut off. Could you look for me??? I think her name might be Sarah. Thanks so much. Donna Wilburn Deason

|Sonya Mitchell||Walnut Fork|
Mr. Askew, I noticed you had some pictures of Walnut Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. When I checked their interments, I did not find the name of George Ann Kinney or George Washington Kinney. Would you know if all interments are listed? This is my great-greandmother & great uncle. I have been told they were buried in this cemetery. Any help is greatly appreciated.

|Wyndy South||Willie DeLoach|
Hi, just in case you are interested in Willie's dates, he was b. 04 May 1904; d. 05 Jul 1905. He was the son of J. F. & Lalia DeLoach, also buried in this cemetery (Surrency). If you are wondering about the validity of my information, you may verify it by the Cemeteries of Tattnall County Georgia by Mosel M. Coleman & Emilie K. Hartz, copyright 2001, page 386. Thanks for posting this cemetery with photos. It is one I don't have relatives in and have not been able to get back to GA to do.

Mr. Askew - Is there any chance you know more about John P Jowers; or did he just happen to be in your path when you were photographing? (45554262). I'm desperately seeking information on my grandfather; also a John Jowers who died in Georgia. Thanks in advance for your consideration. Will - Talala, OK

|Melissa||RE: Sarah Elizabeth Ash Key|
Thank you for the information on Pierce Columbus Key. someone sent me some information out of the Banks County Cemetery Book with all the Keys in the county and his name was not on the list but Sarah's was. so I am guessing he might not have a marker. I will go to my local historical society and see what I can find if anything on where he might be buried. I live proubly about a hr away from Banks county. I might ride up there this weekend and if I find out where Pierce is buried I will let you know.

I noticed you have put Sarah Keys information and pictures of her and her grave marker here on Findagrave. I was wondering if you noticed if her husband was buried next to her? his name was Pierce Columbus Key. just thought I would ask.

|JoAnn HAGANS Harris||RE: Ruby Buckhalter|
I did not personally know her. My Hagans roots come from Bulloch and from a couple more. I visit Statesboro, GA. at least once a month and when I'm there, I try to pack in a lot of research. On my last visit, I pulled obits for several familiar surnames and posted them. I try & do research for others who can't make it to Statesboro. There is a Dab Hagin in Texas & his line is more direct with the Burkhalters than mine. He & I are cousins. I do not know if any of the Burkhalters' are kin to him or not.

|nancy||Thank-you regarding Terry Varner|
Mr. Askew: Thank-you so much for the surprise of having posted my late husband's Bold Springs burial site on Find-a-Grave, although the photo has made me realize that I need to soon arrange for another trip to the cemetery (we don't live close by) to tend to the plot. I also noted the inclusion of a number of my husband's relatives, including the baby brother who died at only 9 days of age (he was born with a hole in his heart, which could probably be easily repaired nowadays.) Since you also posted the photo of little Tommy's grave, you probably noted that he was born on Valentine's Day, the exact date that his older brother would pass away 39 yrs. later. I've always felt so badly that my poor mother-in-law had to endure losing both her sons at the time of this holiday. During this calendar yr., she has also lost her husband & 2 sisters, so there have recently been 3 more Varners buried at Bold Springs (her sisters share her married name since one married a brother & one married a cousin of my father-in-law.) I hope you may soon find the opportunity to include postings for these 3 recently departed--Aubrey, Jewell & Thelma Varner. It is a great comfort & service you are helping provide--thanks again! Nancy V.

|Karen Daniel||Abner Harelson|
Joshua, Seems we may be very distance cousins. My Great grandparents X2 are Elizabeth and Abner Haralson. My great grandmother was Dora Frances Haralson Champion who died in her 30's after having 3 children. One was stillborn and named Elijah and is buried beside his mother at Mt Hickory. Dora Frances is buried between her child and parents. Headstone is broken and unreadable. My grandmother (Emma)was a toddler with one sister (Leila) when their mother died. The widowed grandfather remarried and had additional children. I cannot tell you how thrilled I was to see a picture of Abner. I would love to have a good copy of this picture and any other you might have of family members. I have a good restored photo of Doro Frances if you are interested as well as her husband and children before she died. Hope to hear from you

|Richard Cutler||Finding Sarah Parham|
Thanks for giving it a try on finding Sarah Parham for me, I guess the next step is to contact the church and see what they have in their records. I do have a copy of Sarah Parham's death certificate and it does state she is buried there and if there's no grave marker, I'll make arrangements to get one.
