Johnny C Parks
You mentioned you had forgotten who had requested that you do the memorial. I looked down in your messages and there are a couple people listed there that contacted you. It appears you have his middle initial wrong, they have it as C. Other than that, I believe yours is the correct one. Please contact me and I will delete mine if you concur.
Thanks, Kathy Crownover

RE: Johnny C. Parks vs. Johnny D. Parks
Hello Mr. Pendland, http://news.yahoo.com/depleted-texas-lakes-expose-ghost-towns-graves-182124788.html

I read this article was about Johnny C Parks about the drought and how it had uncovered a cemetary. I did a search for Johnny C Parks because its what the article said. Since there was no memorial for him, I did one. This is in Texas and I'm from Oklahoma but not any where near it to go research it. The article was sad and I didn't want this child to not have a memorial. Let me know which one is correct and I will delete mine if it is incorrect. Very interesting, isn't it!

RE: Question about one of your photos
That isn't a problem with me! There are some on here that hold the pictures like they are gold and won't release them for anything but if I post a picture it is free for any family member to use! It isn't a problem if you want to cancel the site either, just glad she is still with you! Charlene

Johnny's family.

In doing a bit of census research, it appears that little Johnny C. Parks (1881-1882), could have been baby son of Alexander Thomas Parks, and his wife, Senie Davis Parks. Johnny would have been born "between" census years; therefore, he would not have been listed with his family in census data.
In 1880, prior to Johnny's birth, his family would have been living in Llano County, Texas. (1880 Census, attached below).

FIND-A-GRAVE MEMORIALS:

Alex Thomas Parks, Find A Grave Memorial# 32509029.

Arsena Jane "Senie" Davis Parks, Find A Grave Memorial# 32509175.

Baby Johnny C. Parks. (Re: *Old* Bluffton Cemetery, beneath the waters of Lake Buchanan).
SUBJECT: Baby Johnny C. Parks (1881-1882).
*Old* Bluffton Cemetery, TX (Lake Buchanan).

I sincerely thank-you, Sir, for creating the Find-A-Grave "Memorial" for little Johnny Parks, whose grave, along with so many others, was lost and forgotten, beneath the waters of Lake Buchanan.

Lost, no more.
Rest in peace, precious child.

Thanks for adding the graves exposed by the drought.
Is there a way to take photos of the headstones now exposed?

You are very welcome, this was my very first action since signing up for Findagrave last week. It took me awhile to figure out how to change the size of the file, but at last I had success. Learning as I go.
