Thank you for the transfer.
Please read some of the background information on the Smiths. There was a book written by Brenda Crotzer about the Smiths on the Back Bone and the Cagle House now owned by the Northcutt family in Grundy County.
Ms. Lucy Smith married William Hamilton Smith whose son, DeWitt, donated land for a cemetery next to the Baptist Church. She was a co-founder of the church.

I didn't mean to be thoughtless and I apologize. Mike Jones and I have been trying to maintain Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery and their family members.
I, too, have transferred family members and then never hear from those people again.
I now have a new family member: you.

I would be glad to see and photograph the cemetery. There are seven open requests;
I don't have any family interest, but I do enjoy volunteering my time. I don't like running across 'Jake-no-shoulders' either. So maybe I'll see if your free after a frost.

Thanks for the info. I was going to look again in the fall, but if there are no marked stones I will not. I was trying to fulfill requests for that cemetery, so if you don't mind I will post your description of the difficulty in gettting to it and the lack of marked stones as problems and skip the hike.

Can you tell me which Webb she is married to. I am doing Webb genealogy.

I recently attempted to fulfill requests for photos in St John Hollow. I found the Hills Creek cemetery and was directed to one across the creek and further down the hollow towards Hills Creek Rd on James Parker's property. I took several pics of the few remaining legible markers including Todd's and a Pulliam(?). Do you know if this is the "Todd Hollow" cemetery? I spoke with Raymond Robinson and his wife at the "Hills Creek" site and was told another cemetery was located further up the hollow, but was accessible only with 4X4 and had no legible markers.
