Duplicated memorials
While searching a surname, I came across several duplicated memorials made by you and sent SAC's about this situation to you for a few.

I don't know if you realize it or not but there one memorial for one grave. The guidelines are listed under "Help with Find A Grave" on the left side of any memorial and may help understand the purpose for the website: A grave registration site.

I am sure you can check for anymore duplicates in your 45 memorial, move your photo to the original memorial and delete the duplicate.

If your memorials were made for direct relationships, they have to be transferred to you to manage. The guidelines go over that.

You do take beautiful grave photographs.

RE: Allen Durwood Freeland
Hi Don,

I'm sorry to just be writing you. I would be very interested in your findings about the Blood River church. Unfortunately, I don't think I would have very much you are interested in. I do not have a photograph of either Allen or his wife Margaret. I do have some information on how he died - it's in a book that I will have to pull out.

Can you tell me how you know they were members at that church? I'd be interested to know. Their daughter, Laura Polka Freeland Fields, was my great-great-great-grandmother. The "church of Christ" tradition has carried down through the generations - we are still members of a congregation in Middle Tennessee - even seven generations later.

Please, be in touch. You will probably do better to e-mail me at - I don't get around to responding to "Find A Grave" messages too you can see!

I'll copy this to an e-mail and send to you as well.
