RE: Link 100593437 to her mother-124605859
Hi,

I have added her link. Thank you so much for sending it to me. Are you related to Mary (Couch) Holcomb? I noticed that you own her husband John Cowan's memorial and those of her parents. If you'd like me to transfer her to you, I'll be happy to do so. But I'm happy to maintain her memorial also if you prefer. My connection is to her daughter Nezzie.

Kind regards,

Dee

The links have been made. It might be easier if you just click the edit button, and edit relationship links to add people in the future. Have a good day.

RE: 63451956 - Link to Parents
Hello,

I added the link to her father, but the link for her mother is not valid.

FYI - a far more efficient way to request changes to memorials is by clicking on the 'Edit' tab at top right of a memorial, and then clicking on the appropriate links to request changes. Posting changes as a public message on a contributor's page does not include the necessary link to the memorial.

Blessings,
Cyndi

RE: Photo of Harriet Fitzgerald grave stone
Glad to have been of some help with this, David. Almost an accident that this stone was found. It is a small, flat stone and was almost completely overgrown with grass and covered with dirt. Would have been so easy to miss it completely.

RE: Link Parents
Done! In the future place all requests via the edit button on the memorial.

Thanks

RE: John Culbertson, son of David Culbertson
David,

Actually it is MATT who attached John Culbertson to Joseph and Agnes Culbertson. I agree with you that John is the son of David.

Thanks for contacting me about this as from time to time I have made some mistakes and only want to post what is correct.

I assume you are connected to the Culbertson family. I descend from Joseph and Agnes. If you are connected and would like to share research I would be glad to.

Clara Haralson- Hillview
You have the inscription on her stone in her bio.
Inscription on the monument of Clara (Browning Culbertson) Haralson, LaGrange Cemetery in Troup County, Georgia reads: "In memory of Mrs. Clara Haralson, widow of Jonathan Haralson, late of Greene Co., Ga., deceased. She departed this life 1st day of March 1841, age 76 years. In the War of the Revolution, she labored in the fields to support the family while her brothers were engaged in the service of their country." The stone is signed by "H Fitzsimmons, Cherokee Co, Ga."

Hi,

Being that it is a famous memorial and no longer under my control you will have to contact Find A Grave and ask them to link the two. Thank You.

RE: Directions to Howard Plantation in Simpsonville, SC
I LOOKED ON THE WEB "YAHOO". IT SHOWS THE HOWARD CEMETERY OFF "GEORGIA ROAD", BUT GIVES NO OTHER DIRECTIONS. THEN IT SHOWS THE HOWARD CEMETERY ON THE OLD HOWARD PLANTATION OFF FOWLER ROAD. YOU MIGHT CHECK BOTH OF THESE. I DO NOT KNOW WHICH ROAD IS CORRECT OR IF BY CHANCE THE ROADS INTERSECT EACH OTHER. HOPE THIS HELPS SOME.

RE: Gravestone of Mary Ann Dunn Turner
Hi David,

I believe I got her maiden name from the lady who posted her tombstone photo (Joyce). You might try leaving Joyce a message about Mary Ann Turner. Joyce is very knowledgable about Crenshaw County families & genealogy.

Best regards,
Nancy (Folmar) Reykdal

RE: Sarah Ann Towles White Gravestone
Hi, Dave. You are very welcome. Sorry, I don't know of anyone. However, I did take a picture of a Hardy White there also. If he is a distant relative, please look on my main page and you can see the name of the person who requested his photo. She says that she is an ancestor of his. Good luck, Jim
