Frederick Heck
You posted a photo request for Frederick Heck buried at the National Cemetery of the Pacific. He already has a photo of his grave marker (posted in 2009). Was there another photo you were looking for?

RE: Lorenz Maslam - Hillsview
There are many small rural cemeteries in this are; many with only a few graves. The nearest decent sized cemetery is probably 15 miles away. There are several Maslam's in the Hillsview cemetery so I am fairly certain he is buried there.

Lorenz "Lawrence" Maslam
Hi B G

I was recently at the Hillsview Cemetery but was unable to find Lorenz Maslam's marker. I am going to contact the priest at the closest parish to the cemetery and see if he can put me in touch with whoever keeps the records. Hopefully I can get a picture next time I am up that way (my brother in law lives only a few miles from the cemetery). Just a little info on the area this cemetery is at. It is located a mile east and a mile south of what used to be the town of Hillsview. I don't know if there was a church associated with this cemetery at one time, but if there was it was long before my time. At any rate I will try to get a photo for you, but it might be a while.

RE: Bertha Hoffman
Thanks so much for the prompt reply! So her maiden name was different from her father's?

Added by hegemanm on May 03, 2014 7:14 AM

Bertha Hoffman
You included a birth record in German for Bertha Hoffman who is buried in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Big Spring Illinois. Would you be able to translate that for me? I'm trying to find her maiden name. Thanks in advance!

Rev. Joseph Maier
I see that you created the memorial for the Rev.
Joseph Maier. Do you know anything about him? He married my great grand Aunt in 1912, two years after he was ordained. I am trying to find what church he was at in 1912. I would love to find out the church where my Great Grand Aunt was married at.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi b g
Took a walk in Montrose Cemetery with a list of request and saw a headstone with Joseph and Elizabeth Naegle, (Neagle not a typo) but there were no birth or death dates. Behind that stone was another stone with an Ernst 1830 - 1908 and Elizabeth Naegele 1837 - 1905 with the headings Father and Mother. Your's? Not Your's? Please let me know.

Joseph "Joe" Kastner 71886398
Hello. The dates and places you have listed here pertain to my g-g-grandfather. George Kastner (also known as Geo). You'll find him here: Find A Grave Memorial# 69533003 along with part of his family. his father Daniel Kastner, mother and older siblings were, I think, from Strasseburg. Perhaps your "Joe" and mine are one in the same?
