RE: John Christopher Young
From the obituary, it sounds like your George and my John are siblings, but I don't think they are. It is definitely confusing to me, too, because the only George Young in Palestine, TX is your great-grandfather- that I can see. I have no way of knowing where the info that George is his brother came from on the obit. If you can make the link, please let me know! I don't have the death cert., but I should order it once and for all. I have been researching your family a bit, and I'm wondering if your John C. died, because I don't see him after 1880. Does anyone in the family know anything about him??

Your John C. Young: 1880 Census
Name: John C. Young Age: 5
Birth Year: abt 1875
Birthplace: Louisiana
Home in 1880: 7th Ward, Catahoula, Louisiana
Household Members: John Young 59, Roda Young 42, Peter Young, 23
Allie C. Young 20, Newton Young 15, D. Young 10, Nancey Young 7
John C. Young 5, Thomas Young 3, George Young 1

My John C. Young 1910
Age in 1910: 45 Birth Year: 1865
Birthplace:Louisiana Home in 1910: Enloe, Delta, Texas
Household Members: John C Young 45, Myrtle Young 24, Willie F Young 11, Annie M Young 5, Gertrude Young 4, Bufford G Young (My grandma's dad & aunts/uncles)

RE: John Christopher Young
My information on John "Chris" Young comes from information I have obtained through the censuses. for some reason I have George listed as his brother on my tree, too. I don't have any info such as birthday birth place. I would be very interested in what your family has passed down about his parents. My grandma is a Young, but she was not close to these grandparents.

The 2 memorials I noticed are #37577039 maintained by you but created by someone else and #28313866 created and maintained by you, are the two that look like they may be duplicates of each other both have Donie Belle as spouse.

Thank you, Brenda for the transfer.

Now, if you want it back, will be more than glad to transfer it back to you ---

Yup, we do enjoy the research. What I really do not enjoy is the maintenance of memorials added by us --- a big pain but necessary

On that thought, we gave aprox 15,000 records from our database to a youngster, W Dominguez, and he added for us --- got him an award but now he is having to maintain all that mess --- OUCH!

If we can be of help in Red river Co TX, we have tons of notes of over 43,000 burials in the county in our database --- wouldn't hurt to check ---

I added the death certificate to your memorial. Thought you might want to move it under the tombstone so it looks more balance.

Tiny Bell Paulson Wilson
BG, Regarding your memorial #69994994, for Tiny Bell Paulson Wilson, in Bishop Cemetery, Hood County, Texas. Please note Bishop Cemetery is NOT in Hood County. It is near Lipan, but in Erath County, TX. The cemetery lists many memorials, including one for Tiny Bearden, which is a duplicate for your Tiny Wilson. The Tiny Bearden memorial in Erath County does not have your obituary information, so you might want to add that(as an Edit) to the one in Erath before you cancel the one in Hood County. Very confusing, but I hope you can fix this, and I will try to have findagrave delete the cemetery in Hood County. - Mary, Find A Grave #47148892

RE: J W Young
Good work! I'm glad you were able to find out who this man and his wife were. We took those gravestone pictures because the Youngs buried at Cypress are the ancestors of my husband's friend. Mary Jackson

RE: J W Young-Cypress Cemetery
We apologize for not moving the flowers so the inscription on the bottom could be read. We still have the full size picture and what we decided is the inscription could be about the marriage of J.W. to Emma Banks(?) in 1870(?). I would be happy to send you the full size picture for you to look at. Among the pictures we took that day at Cypress there is one for A. E. Young "wife of J.W. Young" born Dec. 25, 1848, died Oct. 5, 1896". My guess is she went by her middle name which may be Emma. Unless the man you are looking for married Catherine after 1896, I don't think J.W. Young is your Joe W. Young. Let me know if you want the full size picture and I will reply with my email address. Once again we are sorry for not moving the flowers to show the inscription.

I did not see any Paulson's buried in this cemetery. Were they from Lipan? There may be some in a different cemetery. I will see what I can find.
