Griffith Family
Hi Jenpa,
I also posted this to TiogaRose's page, but I do see in her profile to contact you, so I thought I would send this same message to you.

I am conducting some heirship research on the family of Samuel F. Griffith (#31300112), his wife, Minnie Griffith (#31300111), their son, Samuel Gus Griffith (#31300113). They also had a daughter named Flossie Griffith, which I have been unable to confirm any death or marriage information on her (don't know her married name) and if she had any children. Based on the Census records that I found on, Flossie was born around 1900. Based on all the records you have posted on findagrave, is it possible that Flossie Griffith is the same person as Flossie Rice(#88307590), as their birth years correlate and she also died in Neosho County? If you are able to confirm this and/or provide any additional information about the Griffith Family and Flossie Griffith, specifically, including, her spouse and any possible children, etc that would be a huge help for me.

Before Samuel Griffith moved to Kansas, he reserved mineral rights on a parcel of land in Greene County, PA and there is no record of him ever conveying those rights, so whoever are his living heirs, would be the current owners of this interest, which im trying to determine. Any info you can provide is greatly appreciated. Thanks and have a great day.

Hello jenpa,

I have been a little under the weather myself.

This is hoping your mother is dong better and that 2016 will bring her nothing but the absolute best in health and vitality.

Over the years she has been invaluable with all of the memorials she had made and would often respond to my emails with additional information.

I am tracing lines of Shipley and related families from Mindenmines, Barton County, MO and Kelsey and related lines from Pittsburg, Crawford County, KS.

Your mom made it easier for me to understand just HOW close the county line was and why so many records are in both places!
