Hi Michelle,

I have been searching Fairview Cemetery here in Wesford, now that the snow is gone. There are many Fletchers and Flatcher and Flatchery, too.
It is a large cemetery and may take some time, as I can't always get over there when I want to. I just wanted to let you know that I have been "on it."

RE: Roger Greenlaw

Ihave also been woking on the Oakfield Cemetery when I am up there. If I can help with anything let me know. Alot of family connections and members are buried there and in the Old South Road Cemetery. People get the two cemeteries confussed on Find A Grave.

Thanks for the transfer.

RE: Helena D (Carlson) Mundell-Martin
Reading that obit, I probably would have added it that way also. However looking at the stone, it should be Martin. If you do a search looking for her and type in Helena Martin or Helena Mundell, you don't get her memorial. (The search engine here is very unforgiving.) The Find A Grave guideline reads - "How should I enter all married names for a woman's memorial when she was married more than once?
The 'last name' should be the name that is on the headstone. Other married names should be included as part of the biography section. The 'maiden name' should only be her maiden name. Unless the maiden name is hyphenated, no part of the name should contain any punctuation."

I could also suggest that you read the guideline about posting obituaries to Find A Grave. See Contributor Tools.

Trying to be helpful. ASB

Leighton photo request Danville Vt
Hi Michelle,

I have just put a photo up for the Leighton memorial you requested. However, sadly I apparently missed a close up of those couple of stones. ( I had been photographing the entire cemetery and must have missed them). I have put a "close up" of them as well. When spring breaks I can run back and get a better shot if no one else has by then. So sorry!

RE: Ruth Helen (Seagrave) Bergeron
Hi Michelle, Thanks for your quick response. I am kind of trying to 'clean up' all the photo requests and the old ones too, in my area cemeteries as I go along and I find that some are still there because they are 'problem' requests with no reason or follow up so I decided to try to sort them out also, depending on the specific situation. I have reposted maybe 2 pics if I think I can tell someone went inactive(or not very active) and just added the credit in the caption figuring the pic was already given to Find A Grave but maybe I should NOT do this again, I should also go through Find A Grave as you suggest. I absolutely LOVE Find A Grave and I am always so happy to meet people like you too! I predict that Find A Grave will become the leader in grave pics if they are not already! Michelle, thanks for all you do and thanks for helping to make Find A Grave the great site it is! - Mary

Devereux's at Central Cemetery
Michelle, I see that you have listed many Devereux's at Central Cemetery in Sullivan, Maine. There is no photo of the stone of Abigail and her husband. I was searching for my great-great grandfather Rueben Devereaux on Ancestry and your photos appeared of his grave stone. A million thank you's to you for what you have done for many people.... I know that you have done many and I'm sure that you don't remember the Devereux information... but where you have information but no photo of the stone... does that mean that you were able to find their names in the cemetery files?? Thanks for any information you can give me.... Thank you. Barbara Larsen

Thanks for transferring them to me. I have other relatives from Aroostock Co. near Oakfield. I might have to bother you again in the future. It's hard to get to Maine to do research when I'm from Alabama.
