Hi Pamela,
Thank you for your kind words. I am glad I could help. I went to visit St James Churchyard, Gawsworth looking for some of my distant relatives with no luck. You were quite lucky really as a lot of the graves there are now unreadable.
Kind regards,

Jane Douglas Ward

Waiting for a reply from Mt. Hope to see if Jane is interred there. I believe she died 2/1/2003, age 97. Their on-line records of go to 2002. I did not add the names of her children, as they may be living. See info under Henry Douglas Buell 144469745.

Which Henry is Jane the daughter of? If Henry Tyron Buell, I am waiting for the links to be processed. He is memorial 68256735. His wife, Nancy, and her parents are in the same cemetery.
Thank you for requesting photos at Mount Hope.

Pamela -
I added photos for George Candee Buell and Ely Buell. I don't have the others you requested, as it was beginning to thunderstorm and I believe they are in a different section of the cemetery. Perhaps next weekend.

Please feel free to use this photo wherever you like. I took several Buell headstone photos in the same plot; send me an email and I'll send you the list - and/or a zip file if you like.

Could it be Jennie L. Ward, d. 6/19/1973 (age 75, b. abt 1898? There are listings for numerous Wards. If you know the dates of death for those you are looking for, call the cemetery. They are most helpful.

Ward family at West Point
I suggest you take a look at the digital collection that is on line:

You may also want to contact the library staff as there is most likely information about the Ward family in their archives.

RE: Phebe Nessle
The stones are for Elizabeth and Sarah VanWoert. There are photos on their memorials. Not sure if there is any connection to Phebe. Sometimes when stones are reset they set unrelated stones in the same base. It's easier to pour one large base than 3 smaller ones. I'm not saying that this is the case for this instance, but it should be considered. Hope this helps answer your question.
