Ward family at West Point
I suggest you take a look at the digital collection that is on line:

You may also want to contact the library staff as there is most likely information about the Ward family in their archives.

Edward Conolly
Hello cousin
My name is Edward D. Conolly jr. my Father was Sr. he was named for his grandfather. his mother was Kate Ward daughter of William and Margaret nee Avila Ward. William was the son of Bryan Ward. I am in possession of a number of photos, inherited from my father of folk I can not identify. If you are interested I would love to share them with you and perhaps we can share through the photos and family lore some of our family heritage with our progeny. Truly yours, Ed Conolly

RE: Phebe Nessle
The stones are for Elizabeth and Sarah VanWoert. There are photos on their memorials. Not sure if there is any connection to Phebe. Sometimes when stones are reset they set unrelated stones in the same base. It's easier to pour one large base than 3 smaller ones. I'm not saying that this is the case for this instance, but it should be considered. Hope this helps answer your question.

Please feel free to use my cemetery photos for your personal use. I am facinated by the story of the Ward family and their connection to West Point. Is there a published family history/story available?

Glad I could help. The stones were hard to read despite being granite as you can see from the photo. I cleaned it off enough so you could at least read the name and dates. There were a great many stones in this plot. I don't remember the other names and I didn't take photos of them as they all needed cleaning and I was running out of time.

John Gerlosky
Benjamin Gerlosky Memorial# 69978260
Dear Pamela,
Benjamin Gerlosky is my uncle. He was born in Export, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. I am updating all the memorials for my Gerlosky family going back to Lithuania. Please look at memorial# 80696749 and other links like memorial# 122041406. Would you consider transferring his memorial to my care?
With kind regards,
John T. Gerlosky
