|John Padermos||Sparks Family|
My Step-Grandmother was Althea Sparks Howell.
She was the daughter of Rueben Stokes Sparks and Nora Slagle Sparks.
I didn't go back any farther than that as it is too far from my family tree.
I loved my step-grandmother and wanted to preserve her immediate family.
She was one of ten chiildre and I knew them all.

|Bonnie Morris Conrad||Burrel Jerome Sparks|
It looks like you are another Sparks researcher. Burrel was my gr gr grandfather and was born in Prince George County, NC Oct. 27, 1821 but I can not find out who his parents were. He moved to Arkansaw right before the Civil War and then to Moniteau Co, Missouri and then to Morgan Co, Missouri and is buried in Freedom Cemetery. I have posted his info on Find A Grave. Is his name in your gedcom file. He is my brick wall. Thanks so much for considering this. I inherited the family pictures for this family and want to connect them. Best regards.

Made some left handed progress - Found an old survey, which helped me find Floyd's marker (photo now posted), but her marker wasn't located. I know where the family plot is now and will go back when the weather is better. Been raining like mad around here. Floyd is buried in the plot bought by Doris' father, it's under the Ford name, hence why we couldn't find it the other day. Michael Peterson up at the cemetery is a big help, so we'll figure it out sooner or later - I'll stay in touch. G

I had tried to work Floyd Sparks for you earlier today - when I got back online this evening, I saw the request for Dorothy. I had talked with the cemetery curator earlier today and he could not find a burial location for Floyd. He said records from the early 60's were poor. I'll get back over there next week and see if I can find Dorothy, which hopefully will lead to him. Any others you'd like while I'm there. It's a huge cemetery, so I have to utilize their records instead of just walking the field. Thanks, Gordon

Tommy - Yes, I'm sure you're related! I've told my husband he would surely find an organ or blood marrow donor if needed given all the relations I've seen in his family tree from NC. He has Boone, Sparks, and Jarretts in his tree and there sure are a lot of them! And it's a good thing :)

Tommy, I am Herman Sparks grandaughter, Tina. As you may know we recently ( March of '10) lost him. Since then I have been researching my family and ancestors. My mom Barbara says you are her favorite uncle..lol.. I really need to know as much about our family as possible. Sherfield looks just like my PaPa.. actually I guess that would be the other way around. My aunt Annette.. actually has this pic of him. I stumbled across this by googling Sherfield's name. If you would like to talk to me, I would love that. My email is email@example.com. My home number is 757-597-7778 my cell phone is 757-713-2033. It is important to me to know about my family and know blood that I never knew. I hope you find this well and call or contact me.

|Howard Boone||gravesite of Gladys Boone Sparks|
I created a gravesite for Gladys Irene Boone Sparks. It is #37471219. Gladys was a first cousin of mine. Her father, Ed Boone and my dad John Nathan Boone were brothers. Just click on the # to see the gravesite. I can transfer it to you if you like since you created one for her husband.

|Kathy||Barbers in Deer Park|
Thank you so, so much for the Barber photos. John Wesley is my G-G-G-Grandfather, and I've been looking for him and George quite some time now. I live in Florida, and the chances of me making it that far north anytime soon, are slim to none.
I just wanted you to know this means the world to me. Just knowing where they are, and that they are being taken care of, is a relief. I've seen so many headstones laying in piles this past year, it's very disheartening to the "cemetary stompers" like you and I. Thanks again.
If you have any wide shots of the cemetary itself, I would love to see them. You may e-mail me directly if you wish.
