Hendrix Family
Hi Brenda,
My name is Jordan Ashley and I am researching the Hendrix family ties. My Mother's father was James Wylie (Wiley) Hendrix and was wondering if all buried at the Hendrix Cemetery has any ties. If you have time to contact me my e-mail address is JAshley1353@yahoo.com I would like to connect with you on this matter.
Thank you,
Jordan

Willie Kirk
DO you have any info on Willie Kirk. I am searching for William Riley Kirk who died in 1965. This Willie seems to fit. I know he had three daughter, Brenda and Linda twins and Joyce. I have no wife name. If this is the one he is part of my Kirk family. Thanks for any info.

This is a bit of a Hail Mary pass, but do you have a way of checking this, might this man be James Nicholls (or Nicholas) Allison, 1848‑1918? Heitman's Historical Register and Dictionary of the United States Army lists him as born in nearby Catlettsburg, KY in 1848, and Cullum's Register of the Graduates of the United States Military Academy (entry 2391, Class of 1871, online at http://bit.ly/Cullum2391) completes his bio by giving his death as May 2, 1918.

I realize of course there are plenty of Allisons and there may be many of them buried in the area; also that for these two people to be the same, we'd have to have 2 errors, not just one. Still, depending on your source (handwriting, for example), it might conceivably be the right man.

Kind regards,

Bobdick Burden
Wrong cemetery
Hi Brenda, I'm just let me know that you have your photo request after wrong cemetery. There is no helpful Alto Mesa Memorial in San Mateo. I think you are looking Alta Mesa Memorial in Santa Clara. If you would call Alta Mesa at 650-493-1041 and ask for dear location I'd be happy to go out and get a picture of the headstone.

Brenda,

A little overdue but I want to thank you so much once again for transferring the Fitch and Hammond memorials to me. I've been adding information and family links as time permits. I wonder if I could trouble you to transfer one more from Fitche Chapel Cemetery: Phobe Hammon Find A Grave Memorial #25761614. I can link her to husband and parents. My Find A Grave contributor # is 47538864. Thanks again in advance.

James R. Columbia
Locust Grove Cemetery
Brenda -

It appears you have photographed some headstones in this cemetery - can you tell me where it is? I am familiar with Fleming County, but cannot locate it. I do see a Locust Cemetery east of Sherburne near the Licking River, but that does not seem a likely location for the person I am researching, who lived near Tilton.

Thank You.

Find A Grave Memorial# 24864879
Hi, Brenda,

I think that Alfred probably died in 1851 or 1861, as he was alive during the federal Census of 1850. Can you check this, and if so, please put the date into his Memorial.

Thank you,
Tracy Howard
