|Brianna Daugherty||Darrell L Langston|
Hello I am the granddaughter of Darrell L Langston and I need you to correct his page just a little. I am Brianna Daugherty. The last part says "He was married to Miss Betty M and to Mamie Prince. " She is the same woman she just changed her name so it should say, "He was married to Miss Mame Prince later known as Betty M Langston." I believe this would honor both please.

I also checked the Belle Isle list of prisoners who died and were buried there -- George Choate wasn't on the list I found. Those on the list I found were all reburied at Richmond National Cemetery. However, the headstone record saying he was buried in TN seems to be the best lead.

No, there really isn't. I just sent a SAC with some further info for you about him -- the most informative was a Union Vet record of headstones which says his headstone is in a Jamestown, TN cemetery. You might explore that, not sure if others of his family would also be there (I included the names of his known children in the SAC I just sent to you -- he had a few sons, so that is always helpful).
Good luck in locating him!

|Sharlene Tucker||Guthery Family Records|
I am a cousin, descending from Young Guthrey thru his 2nd wife, Nancy Jane Trent. I am looking for information about Young's ancestors and descendants. I'm assuming you descend from Young's 1st wife. Perhaps you have more information than we do. If so, can we share information?
I know from my mother's (Berneice Robinson Peel) and my grandmother's (Bernice Guthrie Robinson) hard research that Young's father was George Guthrey b. 16 Aug 1769 in Virginia & d. 24 Oct 1855 in , Daviess, Indiana. His mother was Mary (or Sarah) Young, b. 15 Jun 1773 in Virginia, d. 07 Feb 1849 in Indiana. That's about it. I and another Sherman William Guthrie descendant would love to find more information past this point.

|Tanya Davis||RE: Sallie Ann Pittman|
I have spoken with Wally and he doesn't really have much info for Sallie other than she was married to his Gr. Grandfather William Patrick Dial. He died in 1923 (and is buried in the same cemetery as Sallie, near her but not right next to her) She then married William Lee Pittman. Everyone called him Big Lee.
Wally seems to remember hearing that Sallie had 9 or 10 siblings but our research has not focused on her side of the family.
I am not certain if we have been any help to you or not, if you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are happy to help if we can.

Hello, I hope the Ettie Rosetta Sullenger is the Charity Rosetta Sullenger you requested a photo for. The cemetery couldn't locate a Jay Sullenger but did show me where Benjamin Jasper Sullenger was buried and I did photograph his grave in case you are interested in creating a memorial for him. Hope this helps, Denise

I'm so very sorry. That has to be devastating. Good luck in recovering files, etc. We have external drives to help back up data, which has been a life saver on occasion.
