Question?
Hi Jerry, Thank you for creating the memorials for my family members. You've created several of them! I sent several suggestions for edits via findagrave but I'm wondering if you might need to look up how to approve edits when you receive them?

You've been using my corrections/additions, thank you for that! But instead of using the approve button to make the changes, you manually make the changes yourself instead of using "approve" to make the changes.

It will save you time if you simply approve the changes. And my list of edits waiting for approval won't sit there for eternity with the LARGE RED LETTERS showing you used the information but didn't approve the edit. :~) I have 5 of those.

If you need help learning how to use the approve button please let me know? Or findagrave has a tutorial you can use as well.

I hope this helps!

P P. McCarver / D. P. McCarver
Hello Mr. Capshaw,

Thank you for your dedication to researching and posting cemetery sites on FindAGrave. My Aunt Dot's father was Dump Plato McCarver (I'm not making that name up...it's unusual to say the least!) The only grave I've found that matches his birth and death dates is the subject P P. McCarver in Woodmans Cemetery, McCrory, Woodruff County, Arkansas, USA.

Could the first P be a D...perhaps the stone was difficult to read or something? I certainly would appreciate your opinion on it, if you have a little time to communicate with me.

Thank you in advance for your help.
Cordially, Gail Barnes in Georgia

Photo request
This is related to photo requests for interments in Memorial Oaks Cemetery in Houston, TX. I reside in Houston and I am "mowing the rows" taking photos. This is necessary because Memorial Oaks provides location info to only family. For photo requests to this cemetery to be filled, the complete plot location info is needed as there are more than 10,000 interments. 832-330-9226 local 281-497-2210 address 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77079.

Charlotte Underwood
Henry N Jackson
Dear Jerry,

Do you have any additional information on (my great grandfather) Henry N Jackson? Ancestry has the same day & year of his death but lists his death under Pulaski county in the Arkansas Death Index. Any information on who recorded his death at this cemetery?

Thank you,
Charlotte

Jerry
William "Smokey' Capshaw was the son of George Russell Capshaw memorial #71555218 and Sarah Francis "Stone" Capshaw memorial #71555199. If you would link them together it would be appreciated.

Aunt Francis was the sister of my Grandfather William Alexander Stone. Their parents were William Jarrett Stone, memorial # 74086219 and Margaret Edna "Franks" Stone memorial # 74086232 and she is already linked to them.

Respectfully your cousin several times removed

Hobson Croney (Woodsman Cemetery)
Jerry, I was wondering if you are related to the Croney family of if you just posted it.
This is my uncle, and I was just wondering if you are related. If you would like to transfer him and his wife Lillie Croney to me I would be happy to take them. I believe he also has a son buried there--James.

Frank A. & Sylvia McDonald
FAG: Isaac Mace Wortham
Thanks you for creating this site for my great-uncle. If possible, will you transfer it to me as I want to link as many of the Wortham family memberss together as possible.
Do you know this area of Arkansas? The other family members are buried in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Woodruff Co, and I see that there are two, but only one grave is listed for one of them. I'm assuming that the "south half, south of McCrory, is the cemetery where there are 33 graves listed on Find A Grave. Isaac's sisters, brother and father are buried there....Green B. Wortham and his daughter, Laura Wortham Strain are some of the names. I want to do a memorial for them, but I need to be sure I'm putting them in the right cemetery.
Thanks so much for your help.

Lawrence Henson
I found his death certificate, of course his name is spelled correctly on it- Henson. His place of burial is Heber Springs, with the date being October 23, 1919. The undertaker was T.E. Olmsted? not sure if that's spelled correctly.
Not really much else on there.
Thanks,
Kim

William Lawrence Henson/ Hinson
Hi Jerry,
Thank you for looking, I suspect that he doesn't have a stone. He is my grandfather's oldest brother. I am fairly certain he is buried there but may be buried under the name Lawrence Hinson. I guess I should have added that. I was in Heber Springs a few years ago and got to look briefly at the burial records there but wasn't sure if it was him until I had left. I ordered his death certificate later and found that the death date was the same but Larry's name was listed as Hinson and not Henson. He died from TB. They lost a couple of children while living in Heber and I cannot find the other one either, he was not even listed on the death records, his name was Joe Albert Henson. My great grandparents are buried there, they are Susan Francis Henson and James Moody Henson. They were not living there at the time, they were living in Blytheville, Mississippi County, Arkansas when they died but I suspect that the reason they wanted to be buried in Heber was to be close to their children who had passed away. There is one other son buried at Mount Olive Cemetery in Cleburne County also. They all died fairly young.

Thank you so much for looking. I don't think that I have a copy of the burial record for Larry but I do have a copy of the death certificate for him and I will double check that when I get home.
Kim
