RE: Elizabeth Baelz
I’m not well versed in all the different aspects of Findagrave but I’ve read of two memorials being “merged”. I’m not sure if that means just manually combining them or what exactly. I see what you mean about letting people be aware of the existence of both stones but I would say that discovering two actual memorials for her causes confusion also.
Here’s what I came up with: What if the two separate stones aspect was covered by having the picture of the Siegwald stone on your page remain there but explain it with a caption similar to what you just put in your notes? After “husband’s marker” just add the words “at Siegwald Cemetery”. The picture of the stone at Cedar Hill from the other page would be added to your page and the one of the Siegwald sign removed. The links between the two spouses then will easily let someone toggle between the two cemeteries which I think is one of the better features of Findagrave that I’ve seen to keep things organized and logical. I love the linking and have just started doing that editing for family in the last month or so, hence why I’m here bothering you with all of this. Besides the earlier creation date, your page for her was more complete than the other one since it already had several of the family links in place and more information on the birth/death dates. How does this sound to you?
I don’t remember exactly where but I’ve seen your username on other memorials that I would like to edit with links and such at some point. They should be with the usual route and not like the issues with this case. At least I hope not to put any more extra work on you for it. Thank you in advance for those that I’ll send to you down the road and thank you for your additions on this memorial and working on it with me. I appreciate it.

Elizabeth Netz Baelz

There are two memorials for Elizabeth Netz Baelz. Yours is the older of the two but the burial was at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon and not with her husband at Siegwald as listed on your page. Her name is on the stone with his at Siegwald but without a death date. For some reason she was buried at Cedar Hill instead. Please refer to the obituary information posted on your memorial page # 40740378 and the second memorial # 44198875 (made several months after yours) at Cedar Hill Cem. which has a shared headstone picture of Eliz. and son Jacob.
Could you please change the place of burial on your memorial to Cedar Hill Cem.? I will then contact the owner of the second memorial to have it removed.
I have also sent some edits for her. Thank you for your time and help.

Richard E LeVeque is buried at Alchin Farm Cemetery
Dear Sir or Madam bgraustark,

My email is and is posted as I contribute and want my family or others to contact me easily, if any errors. I have been trying to reach you since I saw the error.

You should post your email. My son's father is buried at Alchin Farm Cemetery, on Van Orden Rd in Webberville, I confirmed with the Sexton. Your Memorial has many errors. Please delete your Memorial or transfer to me, as I requested so I can fix errors. My posted Memorial was first and contains correct information. I appreciate you have posted so many, but this one on Rick is in error.

Here is the Sexton. He has his information listed.
Alchin Farm Cemetery
4585 Van Orden Rd.
Webberville, MI 48892
Sexton: David Wheeler
(517) 468-3421

Or you can call Webberville Cemetery to confirm Rick LeVeque is NOT there.

I am calling Ancestry today to request contributors need to post their contact emails.

Dear bgraustark,

My name is Marilyn LeVeque. I was married to Richard and am mother of his son. You placed a Memorial but it has many misspellings and errors. My son does not wish his name, only "son" from the obit.

I do not know how Amy and Rich Crandall feel. I will ask them.

I lived in Webberville for 8 years. He is buried at Alchin Farm Cemetery, just down from where we lived on VanOrden Rd.

Could you please transfer this Memorial to me? I cannot reach you via Edits? You can reach me by edits. My Memorial has been up since 2007. And Death Certificate states Alchin Farm Cemetery.

John P Stone Memorial # 72273016
John Stone is my great-great grandfather's brother.

His tombstone has incorrect dates on it, as he was 1 in 1850.

But, I was wondering if I could be transferred the memorial, as I have done extensive research into my family. If not, here is some of what I know:

John P. Stone
b. 27 Jun 1849 in Estill Co., KY*
d. 19 May 1925 in Jefferson Co., KY

Sorry, and thank you.

Cemeteries in Ingham Co
I am trying to locate a grave in Ingham Co., Phelpstown (Phelpston). This person, Jacob Olds, was born in 1769 in Ct. and lived in Ingham Co after 1830. He was the Justice of the Peace in Ingham Twp in 1839 and lived in Phelpstown with sons: Stephen B. Olds and Sanford Olds. He is there in the 1850 census at 81 yrs and then I can't find him so assumed he died by 1860. (He is in Lodi in 1845 and also found in the 1850 census with a son in Jackson!)

Find-a-grave does not have him nor his sons. A daughter, Susan Olds (Mrs. Stephen V.R. Church) is in Summit Cemetery having died in 1872 and she is on Findagrave.

S.B.(Stephen)Olds donated land for a cemetery in Phelpstown in 1844 so I'm hoping that is still there and that is where the family is buried but I don't know how to locate it.

Would you know of any cemeteries in Phelpstown? Any info you could give me would be most appreciated.

Pat Bush,
