New Feature on Find A Grave
I found out a new feature on Findagrave. Go to the Contributor Page on your name and look at the Edit Tab at the top right. If you click on that it will show request for you to accept or decline for adding birth and death dates, locations and states. Doesn't allow any connection to parents yet. Hope this info helps.

Hi, JMB,
Happy New year!

Is it possible for you to link the following memorials?

my grandfather #4965922 Willie Ambrose Smith to his father, # 114165875 Ambrose Smith?

If there is something I need to do, please advise.

Best regards,

...but one can't post an image in the bio area. I didn't think of that last night. I will get it transcribed today and resend.

Hi JMB, I noticed that you have the spelling of this gentleman's last name incorrect. Or is it? As I do work on my family tree, I have seen my last name spelled that way on various census records. I have noticed several grave markers there at Thornrose with the last name spelled with an A. From what I have found, that is the way my ancestors spelled their name, prior to coming over here from Scotland in the late 1600s. The letter A was changed to a U before they got off the boat. I also have a great uncle Guy who was born just about the same time as this gentleman, but is supposed to be buried in Blacksburg. How cornfusing!

Best regards,
Darrell LandrUm :)

Is there a way to download a memorial with bio, family, etc to Ancestry.com?

Does Findagrave allow that?

If so, how do I do it?

Thank you,
Terry Ambrose
