I noticed you had add a lot of my husband's family to FindAGrave, and I was curious if you were also related to this family?

Irene Bentley
Irene's 2nd husband was Coley Clifford Sherrill b. Jan 1, 1905, Lincoln Co., NC - s/o Cephus Burton Sherrill & Fannie Sherrill (yes she was also a Sherrill) I have no deathdate for them nor burial place as yet.

Gale Payne Nagy
Benjamin Squire Bentley's spouse
FYI: most census records indicate she was born abt 1834; 1900 Census has her birth as Mar 1836. I know her DC has abt 95 yrs but she was really about 88-90. She is not a direct ancestor of mine but related through Teagues & Mundays.
Glad you posted her info. and explained about the cemetery - I was also curious about the "school house road".

I see that you are researching the Bentley surname. Do you by chance have a Gilbright Bentley (1856-1911) in your tree? He is my 2nd great grandfather.

Annette I really cannot remember for sure. I know I see the Livengood name when we are there but never really pay attention to how many or where they are. You are most welcome for the pics we posted. We are glad to help where we can.I will look again next time we are there for more. Debbie and I are trying to get the entire cemetery done but it is VERY large so it will take a long time for us to get it done.I always see the name more than some though since I have a cousin who is married to a Lovinggood and it always reminds me of her. Are you related to King of this area? I took some King pics last week. I do not think we have them on line yet. As I said, this is a HUGE undertaking and will take a while to get it all on line.

RE: Pennington's in Mt Tabor Methodist
Annette, I checked over on the forum boards about the "one time only" transfer question, and found out that it is not the case. Actually had someone who offered to transfer one of their memorials to me and have me transfer it again to be sure that multiple transfers could be done. So I have now given you the 6 Pennington family memorials to manage and if/when a closer relation comes along and wishes to have them transfered, you will be able to do so.

I actually am not sure about the one time transfer rule. I will have to check on that one and find out for sure. If it's not the case I will go ahead and transfer the Pennington branch of the family to you as well for now.

I believe you now have all of the Livengood family members (as well as spouses and children) transfered to you. Please let me know if I missed anyone and I will be happy to send them your way as well. Always glad to be able to reunite family. :)

RE: Livengood Family
No problem. I am just glad I was able to help out. Will get them transfered as soon as I can. Oh btw...also found something else for you in another cemetery on the same day. You have a request in for Catherine Pennington, listed in Mt. Tabor Presbyterian in Cleveland?? Well Rob and I also happened to go to a Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church Cemetery here in Salisbury, off of Mocksville Road. It is a fairly small cemetery and I photographed the whole thing. I had to add it to the site and started adding all memorials and adding photos and realized that Catherine is actually buried in this Mt. Tabor, not the one in Cleveland, and I have her grave photo for you!

Livengood Family
Annette, I just wanted to let you know that I ended up paying a visit to the Gay's Chapel cemetery yesterday afternoon and filled your photo request for Cletus Livengood. While I was there I also grabbed photos of every Livengood family member I found. I may have missed one or two here and there, but I did get a good number of them, including Jack and Zona. Added the photos for those who already had memorials and created ones for those who didn't have them yet. Again, please let me know if you would like me to transfer the new memorials to you.

Mary

Annette,

Yes, I am related to the Eads. They would also be my great aunt and uncle. Dora was my great-grandfather's sister. The Martin family Dora ccomes from is one of the primary lines I research.

Nice to meet you,

Moe

Zona's Parents
Ok I am so not with it this morning. I totally missed her parents names when I read the obit this morning. I blame a lack of sleep. I just did a bit of checking and no they are not in the same cemetery, but they are listed on the site! They are buried in Fork Baptist church cemetery
Mocksville, Davie Co., NC

RE: Livengood family
I transfered Annette's memorial to you just now. I am assuming Jack is probably buried there, but he isn't listed here on Find A Grave yet, and I haven't come across his obituary so far. The cemetery isn't that far from where I live though, so I can go there when time and weather permits and check for you to see just how many of the family are there and get pictures of any headstones if you like. I didn't see Annette's parents names listed in her obituary, so if you pass them along I will check for them as well when I go and let you know one way or the other.

Livengood family
Annette, I just added a memorial in Gays Chapel Cemetery, Salisbury, NC for a Zona (McDaniel) Livengood, wife of Jack Livengood, and since I know you are related to a number of the Livengood family in this area, I was wondering if she might be one of them, and if so, if you would like me to transfer the memorial to you.
