RE: John McCracken 1811-1897
This is Eliza Louisa Mashburn born in 1829. I have her married to Robert McCracken John McCrackens brother in 1854. She was also married to a Smith. If she was married to John it was late in his life, I believe they married in the 1890's. I cannot find proof of any of her marriages or where she is buried. The Elizabeth # 26233512 is her sister. I feel Eliza Louisa should be in the Upper Campground Cemetery but it is possible she married again after John. Thanks for All your help. Jennie

John McCracken 1811-1897
I would like to know if the Jno McCracken whose stone you photographed in the upper campground cemetery was married to Eliza Louisa Mashburn Smith. I believe she was his third wife. Is the Mary he shares a stone with a daughter. I hope you can help me with my research. Jennie

Lillie is buried next to an Iona Opal Jones,
Could this be a daughter of Lillie's. I have both photo's of their stone. They are buried directly behind Angelo & Jennie's Headstone. I also have Robert & Daisy's photo. Send me a request so I can post them for you. LeAry

I come across a couple of McCrackens in Leann cemetery and was wondering if there is a connection to you. Rachel E. 1854-1911 and J.C. 1845-1920. LeAry

I'm sorry I cannot be much help with the date on this stone. The Stubbblefield/GumSprings Cemetery was so overgrown that I will probably never go back down there. Someone told us that it is cleaned up for Memorial Day.
